Nice, solid feel. Good quality leather. Very comfortable Read more
I like the look of these shoes, and while they offer no arch support, they are fairly comfortable. The trade-off to their comfort, for my purposes, is that they are not made to last long. Compared to other casual moc-toe outdoorsman-style shoes I have worn in the past, the leather is thin and supple, and the soles seem insubstantial. They're definitely sturdier than preppy boat shoes, but on the spectrum of toughness, they are closer to boat shoes than they are to their hiking-style counterparts. If I had to be on my feet all day, I would not wear these shoes, because the materials don't give enough support for strenuous use -- but that's ok, because they clearly are not made for strenuous use. However, with daily use at a moderately low level of indoor and outdoor walking (I'm an office worker), I estimate I would get only 3 - 6 months of use out of them. If it turns out to be 3 months, I, personally, would not buy them again, because I can buy sturdier shoes of this kind from other manufacturers for $165 - $200 that would last a couple years. If they last 6 months, these shoes would not be a bad deal if you prefer a lighter, softer shoe to a tougher, heavier, more durable one. Which brings me to my next point: if you like soft shoes that require no break-in, you should consider these. If you prefer more durable shoes, which require break-in before they become comfortable, these shoes are not in that category. From a style standpoint, however, these shoes are a bit more versatile than a beefier shoe: like their lighter boat shoe cousins, they look good with cargo shorts and ankle socks, whereas a tougher, sturdier version of this shoe would look clunky and possibly out of place with shorts. These shoes also look good with jeans, khakis, and even light-colored (tan, bone) wool dress slacks. If I get 6 months of daily use out of them, I plan to keep a pair in my wardrobe. Read more

I have been wearing these shoes for a few weeks and put off writing a review because I couldn't make up my mind what I thought about them. They are good looking, and they fit pretty well, but for some reason they aren't comfortable after a few hours. Its true there isn't much arch support. But I think what may be the cause of discomfort is their weight. They are as heavy as my high-top lace work boots! My cheapie shoes from Walmart are super comfortable and light as a feather, and I can wear them all day and never think of them because they are so soft and comfortable. So, though I wear the Dockers a lot, I am glad to take them off. I have decided that inspite of the high quality of the building materials, and their nice styling, I won't buy another pair. Read more

I bought these shoes in 2019 and I really liked them, beautiful, durable and well-cut. For that reason I bought them again, but I was disappointed, the structure of the shoe is not the same, apart from the fact that I ordered size 9.5 and they sent me 10.5 I am totally disappointed with this purchase. My second pair of these shoes. Very comfortable walking shoes. Purchased my original pair for a long trip and this -- my second pair -- for an upcoming trip to Europe with lots of walking. Comfortable, and style is between "casual" and "dress" -- just dressy enough, but not too dressy. A nice walking shoe option between tennis shoes and more dressy shoes. And a great value. Read more
