Wow! This works so well! We have been trying everything to get our 2 year old Lab to stop barking. I bought this as a last resort and I am so glad I did. This little gadget is amazing! I read the reviews before purchasing and was still skeptical because our Boglen Terrier ia always SO WOUND UP and she barks and jumps on everybody (very friendly and never aggressive but it can be very annoying). From the very first time I used it, she stopped dead in her tracks, and I could tell it worked. After a couple of times using the beep signal before using the silent whistle, I haven't had to use the silent whistle again and we've had it several months. When she starts barking incisively or starts to jump on visitors. one beep and she's the perfect lady. I didn't want to use a shock collar no matter what and this thing fits the bill perfectly! A humane way to get a stubborn pup to listen! I know it sounds too good to be true (because that is exactly what I thought), but I highly recommend! Read more

After months of dogs barking next door at our new home and no end in sight I bought this. Three dogs completely enmeshed in the song of their people. I used the device twice. I was more than 50 feet away and it there was some branches between us. It worked. Frankly, I’m in disbelief. They simply don’t bark at me anymore. It also worked when on an earl am dog walk two somewhat friendly dogs approached and I didn’t want them any closer to my dog so I used the device and they simply turned around calmly and walked back to their home. Whenever I walked my two 20-pound schnoodles, and they saw someone else walking a dog, my dogs would bark excitedly and lunge toward them like attack dogs, almost pulling me over. It was embarrassing for me and annoying for my neighbors. After using this device only about four times, my dogs quit tugging on their leashes and barking after only a verbal command. I could hardly believe how quickly they learned not to bark! I always said, “Hush!” first. Next, I pressed the warning tone, and then, if necessary, I pressed the high-pitched frequency tone. I could tell they didn’t like the sound because it made them back off and turn around in circles with puzzled looks on their faces. At night, the flashlight feature is very handy. I’m sure I could add the light as another warning signal or reminder not to bark, but I haven’t needed to because the tones were so effective. I don’t mind my dogs barking at other times. Dogs will be dogs, after all, and I don’t want them to be afraid to bark. But I couldn’t abide them acting like little terrors around my neighbors and their dogs. Now, all I have to do is say, “Hush!” and they stop barking immediately and turn around and look at me. Then I praise them, and everybody’s happy. Read more
When I purchased this I was hesitant buying this but I highly recommend buying the dog deterrent from barking my schnauzer would bark with all guest coming in our home with using it just a couple of times my Schnauzer stopped barking acted more calmly. Great product. Read more
