It doesn't have a remote, but I realized I didn't need one for my needs. One bark and my dog stops. I use it for walks mainly because every dog altercation starts with vocals and this stopped my pitty from being interested in tying to assert her dominance toward other dominant types. Also, she considers it an act of war if someone knocks on the door or delivers a package. I don't have to keep it on her all day now, it has trained her not to over react. Instead, if she hears someone next door or sees the delivery truck outside, she'll whine instead letting me know there is someone out there. Can't say enough about this collar. Supper simple to use. It remembers the settings, even after it runs out of juice. Doesn't hurt her, and the high pitch beep is all she really needs now to remind her that I doen't approve of her barking! It also helped with the 4th of July fireworks. I've had it almost a year now and still works great. Read more

Our dog uses an e collar for training, he is a smart and vocal boy and with instruction from our trainer when he’s excessively noisy (think high pitch whistle whining) without reason we would use his collar but that meant keeping it on him at a night too which lead to very little downtime for the collar to be charged aka it would die when we really needed it during the day for training. At night He sleeps in the basement and will whine or bark at sirens or whatever he sees out the window at night. This meant we had to keep the remote on our nightstand and stim him in the middle of the night disrupting our sleep. I considered getting a second ecollar to rotate but even on Black Friday they were still $220. This bark collar had good reviews but not many reviews discussed whining but I gave it a chance. I’m happy to say after a week of using it I’m thrilled with the results and the price. It beeps, then vibrates, then stims. He was not familiar with a beep but it did not scare him (he is not skiddish or anxiety prone) it’s just enough at the precise time that he knows exactly why it went off and gets reinforced with the followed up vibe&stim. It has reduced his unnecessary whining completely. After a couple days he definitely knows the difference between the two collars when we change them and I truly think it clicked for him and he knows not to whine unless it’s important now. I would discontinue if I felt this was a scare tactic. He is not nervous or in distress when he sees it/wears it/it goes off and I am confident and have seen that he is not scared to bark or whine when he really needs something. We know our dog and meet all his needs and having this on him during the day has provided him a perfectly timed reminder to quit the unnecessary nails on a chalk board whistling and at night has helped us all rest better! If this thing quit in a month I’d happily buy again at under $20 price point but I’m hopeful with myo boy this will be a training tool that will solve the problem permanently and won’t need to be used consistently. Thank you!!! Read more

It has only been a little over 24 hours since I received my package. I put it on my dog for roughly 4 hours after I set it up. The rubber pieces that cover the prongs, one was already missing when I took it off him to go to bed that night. Not a problem the package comes with 2 sets of them so I replaced them and pushed them on harder thinking maybe it was my fault. Yesterday I put the collar back on my dog for a nother few hours and when I took it off again both the dang rubber pieces are now missing. I dont want to put the collar on my dog and leave him un protected from the metal prongs......unless I can find a way to purchase more (which still sucks!) I can not and will not use the collar for safety reasons. Other than that, the collar was seeming to be very helpful. Stinks I only got a few hours out of both days if that. I dont know if the collar could have burned him in the time I didn't know the rubber pieces were gone. That could have been a very horrible experience for him. He is short haired so they do sit about right on the skin. Another thing is the collar does not stay snug, you have to keep adjusting it which wasn't a total problem (yet) because you are supposed to move it about every 2 hours. But if in that time that it became loose and I needed the collar to do its job it may not have been effective in that moment. The vibration strength so far has been enough to get my male 10 month red nose pitbulls attention. The battery life is still good, yet I have not had a chance to charge it right out of the package. We were testing it with the battery life it came with. There is no remote but that's fine. The collar set up was easy if you follow the instructions. I did need to set the sensitivity down a little lower than I thought due to other high noises were setting it off and giving my dog a warning when he was not doing anything. I am happy with the collar truly! But i simply do not want to use it anymore now that the prongs are straight un covered... it does claim to be water proof which is awesome. My dog loves running through puddles and it has been very very rainy the past few weeks so I wasn't worried about taking it off him! (Until I realized the prongs would be getting wet now as well). I have to some how get ahold of the manufacture I'd assume for the rubber ends and put a pause on the training. UPDATE: the seller reached out after I messaged them. They said they would send me a brand new collar. They re asked for my address JUST TO NOT EVER SEND ONE. ): I purchased new rubber pieces and that ended up being a waste as well. This collar worked on my dog for probably a week, camping or out in public... slim to none. That may just be for my dog though. It's now October 5th and I forgot to mention collar doesn't even work anymore since middle to end of August. Lasted like a month. I may just over all have had horrible luck....... but purchase it if you'd like to give it a shot for yourself. Read more

This collar was great and worked well for our dog but the size was just too big for our 10 pound dog. Ended up returning it because it was so bulky. Read more
