These dog bells have been really helpful for potty training. They were easy to hang on the door, and the adjustable strap made it simple to get the right height for my dog. The bells are loud enough to hear from another room but not so loud that they’re annoying. My dog picked up on using them pretty quickly, and now it’s much easier to tell when she needs to go outside. The quality feels sturdy and they’ve held up well to daily use. Super strength, but almost too tough & stiff to jingle the bells

I originally bought this for the back of my bedroom door, so that when I'm in another room of the house, I'd be able to hear if someone opened my bedroom door. Unfortunately it doesn't work for this purpose at all. The rope is so solid & stiff, it doesn't move around enough to trigger the bells to jingle. I think it'd even be hard for a dog to get the bells to make a sound, unless it was a big, powerful dog that used a lot of force & movement (imo). That said, it IS an extremely thick, durable rope, and the bells are attached very securely (they won't come off, & I really tried just to see if it was possible. For me, it wasn't). Since this product was actually made for a dog, I'd definitely feel safe having a dog around this without fear of ripping, chewing or tearing apart. It's made of solid construction and high quality, durable, super strength materials. For that, I give it 4 stars. Read more
