The collars came unravelled and fell apart within days for one thing. For two it somehow reset (maybe while they were wrestling or chewing on each other?) and instead of just a vibration it shocked my dog on level 3 made him scream and run screaming into the house terrified. He was shaking for ages and hiding under the bed. He won't play out in the yard unless we coax him out. We had to force him to go out to pee and use the automatic dog door. I do NOT recommend these at all. I went with a set that you can leave the shock prongs out of them. (they come in a seperate package you can add or not.) These colors are not meant to slap on your dog and expect them to quit barking although they might stop barking. They don’t actually learn how to control themselves without some kind of positive reinforcement when you see them control themselves. This collar is easy to use. It has clear indicators and it is easy to recharge. But PLEASE DO NOT LET YOU DOG DRINK WATER WHILE IT IS ON I put the collar on my dog with vibrate on He did a little shake and just the shake of his collar made it go off. I tightened the collar and must put it on shock while adjusting it. Everything was fine until I gave my dog water The lapping noise or maybe droplets hitting the mic made it go off and my dog was shocked of course, he YELPed which made it go off again. It was scary and I felt so bad for him. But I will say this. He had on his collar and another dog was barking at him about 4 inches from his face and the collar didn't go off. Pro Tip: I replaced the fabric collar that the device sits on with a rubber/silicone collar and haven’t had any issues. For how low cost the device is, an extra $5 spent on a more durable collar makes all the difference. You can simply cut off the fabric collar and easily loop the silicone collar through the slits already in the device. The device works but if you’re too lazy to put in the effort to make it more effective, spend 3x the money on a different device instead. Good collar, my dog has separation anxiety so this collar not only deters barking but also deters his howling/whining/crying. The sensitivity levels are great. At a higher level, it would beep if he’d shake his head so it takes some trial and error to find the correct sensitivity that’s best suitable for your dog. We loved Thai collar, has tried others and Thai actually as worked great! However after 2 months I just went to take it off my dog and the piece that connects the collar to the bark/shock system is mad of plastic and just snapped. Disappointed in the quality. Read more
