Got this for my dog, he doesn't like having his nails trimmed with clippers. So I figured I'd give this grinder a try and see how he does with it. Its very easy to use, comes with directions, low noise, has a nice look, nice quality, hand sized, it works great. I like that it comes with a light, so you can see the nails better. My mini poodle has nails that grow crazy fast. It’s more and more expensive to have either our groomer or vet trim his nails as often as necessary to keep them at a healthy length. I was taking him in every two weeks. I’ve now used this nail grinder several times and have slowly gotten my dog’s nails to the length we prefer. First time user today. I appreciate the quietness and the speeds are appropriate. Used speed 1 for a Pug nail. Nails were not that long but the grinder smoothed the edges and I was able to grind more nail off than I normally would be able to if I was cutting. Put headphones on the Pug as he unsettled by the sound of the dremmel tool i typically use, so the low level sound on this grinder is a big improvement. I was very pleasantly surprised by this product! Nail trims for my already-nervous Italian greyhound has always been a big deal. After reading how nail clippers cause nail fractures and pain being the reason that dogs hate their nails done, I looked at this product. It is rechargeable, very quiet and no vibration. It works efficiently in grinding the nail down super-fast and smooth. It is lightweight and even has a light on it. It's nice to be pleasantly surprised by a new product. This is good for little dogs like my Pomeranian but for my Cane Corso its not enough. The noise level is fine, my Pomeranian is used to getting her nails clipped so it doesn't bother her. It's easy to use and is good quality for the price you pay for it. Read more

My Mini Schnauzer normally HATES getting her nails trimmed, she'll tremble during the process, HIGH STRESSED. With this new grinder, @ first she panicked, but I used it gradually on her, and her stress level has gone way down. I do short sessions because her nails got so long about every 3 to 4 days to let the Quick relapse, she has BLACK nails, which is impossible to see the quick.
