absolutely love these ear cleaner finger wipes. I have a medium-sized dog with floppy ears and a large dog with upright pointy ears, and they work perfectly for both of them. The finger design makes it really easy to get into all the folds and corners of their ears without them squirming away, and it gives me much better control than regular wipes or cotton pads. The wipes are soft, moist, and gentle, and they don’t have any strong smell or alcohol sting. My dogs both have pretty sensitive skin, and these have never caused any redness or irritation. These little wipes were a game changer for me. We have an old German Shepherd who needs her ears cleaned out regularly. I was using round pads that were hard to keep a grip on. These are nice. They took so long to get here but I'm happy to use them. I don't have much to compare them to but so far they are getting the job done. My main thing to note is that they smell very minty. I actually like that, and was able to differentiate the finger pad from a different one that was an eye wipe so I knew not to use this on her eye. It came with a lot, and I really appreciate being able to use a single finger wipe instead of wasting an entire wipe glove for this. But it was funny to have someone put a glove on to find out I cut off the fingers already! Overall, this is a nice product and the dog's ears appreciate it. Read more
Love the easy and effectiveness. This seems easier and makes doing a general ease of cleaning. Pup seems more comfortable than the more traditional liquid options. They smell fine and though thin they didn’t rip. Makes for easy quick occasional cleaning. Can recommend. Read more
Where have these been all my life? I love these things! No more squeezing weird greasy liquid into ears that ends up all over the house when they shake their head. These are basically finger gloves. Stick one on your preferred finger and you can feel all the groves nooks and crannies that need to be cleaned. I used it on my cats and large dog. They were all cool with it.. which is also new. Comes with 50, which is equal to 25 ear cleanings. (1 for each ear). Now don’t throw away the liquid bottle…if they have extremely dirty ears you would need to use the liquid stuff. These are great, and arrived just in time since one of my dogs suddenly has yeasty ears. We have a vet appointment to treat it, but in the meantime these have made it easy to clean his ears and the redness has already lessened. I love being able to just slip it on my finger and know that my finger is completely covered, I've used the round wipes before and it is just gross when ear gunk get on me as well as the wipe. And you can get them off without getting anything on you. They fit on easily, kind of like little finger puppets. I think they would likely fit anyone's finger, except maybe a guy with really really big hands. My dog does not want his ears cleaned but because it stays on my finger I can be pretty fast and can hold his head still with the other one. The smell is pleasant, a little like witch hazel. I think once we get the actual infection cleared up with the rx, keeping his ears clean will be so much easier with these. These are really handy to have for regular ear cleaning sessions. They're large enough to fit just about anyone's finger and easier and safer to use than a Q-tip. They are really moist so you might need to squeeze out a little moisture prior to sticking them in your pets ear. Because you can use your finger you can better clean the delicate ridges in a dogs ear, always be gentle though and don't go in too deep. My dogs usually freak out when they see "the box" come out that contained the long stemmed cotton swabs for ear cleaning. It's always a fight with them. One is a mastiff and the other is a pug. I was happy to receive theses finger tip ear cleaner pads. I have big hands and the pads were a bit snug on my index finger. I wasn't expecting them to be as moist as they were. The smell is a bit strong. After initially opening the jar the smell did dissipate some. The cleaners work very well. What I like most is that the dogs are not traumatized by me having to hold their heads tightly to stick the cotton swab in their ears. These are very durable but I used 1 per ear just in case one ear had more yeast gunk and bacteria than the other one. I believe anything that makes my life easier when caring for my babies is worth the money. Especially, if the item causes less trauma. These ear cleaning pads are non-threatening to them because it's just Mom's finger. Now the girls have clean ears that keep them from having to get a costly vet visit. Read more
