You know when you get something and you wonder why you never got one before? That is this item for me haha! We have two dogs, one medium size and one small, and two cats who refuse to drink out of their own bowl so they all have one large community bowl…what a mess they make. One dog likes to dribble the water when she’s done and one of the cats likes to play with it and get her paws all wet (and if the bowl is empty enough, she flips it over). I’ve always had their water bowl sitting on a placemat and would have to clean it daily, then this entered my life and I’m so grateful! I got the floral one cause it matches my kitchen and l color schemes best, it’s cute! Pretty even. It is super absorbent to the point I don’t even realize they’ve been dribbling or playing, can’t tell at all! This Dog & Cat Food Mat arrived super fast! Came rolled up so there weren't any creases in it, I was really glad about that. I have purchased these mats in the past where they come folded & the creases never went away so bonus points for that right off the bat! I ordered Floral-01 option but there are several choices to pick from. This is such a beautiful mat, instantly brightening up my floor & kitchen. Size is perfect for multiple bowls of food, water and wet food. I got the largest size 17x30" which I feel is just right for my area & the amount of bowls I use. Very easy to keep clean with just a cleaning wipe or a damp rag/cloth. I used a lint roller on it earlier today since my dog sheds like crazy & it worked like a charm! Doesn't slip around and absorbs any spills or drops of water quickly. I am thrilled with this mat, makes it very easy for me to change out with my other for cleaning or just changing styles for seasons. At the price of $22.99 (at time of posting this, 03/06/26) I do feel like it is a little high. I would like to see the price come down just a little bit to see it be more competitive with others on the market. Other than that I highly recommend it & would purchase again if in the need. Ordered this for the grand dog. She’s a labradoodle. When she drinks the hair under her mouth gets wet and drips everywhere. Her mat she has is small. She drips through out the apartment but mainly at her food and water bowls. This mat is a lot cuter also with the wildflowers on it. They have quite a selection of patterns/pictures to choose from and 3 different sizes: 12 x 20” or 17 x 30” or 16 x 24” The mats are absorbant and anti slip. Care instructions are wipe clean after use 😂 yeah not happening here. It is polyester material that they say to wipe clean with a damp cloth or under running water. IMO Honestly think it would be ok in washing machine on gentle cycle with a towel. The design isn’t like an iron on but seems to be in the material. This is a very nicely made rug/mat. The printing is clear and vivid and it's a nice thickness too. It is the perfect size for under my dogs bowls and has such a classy look to it. I like that it has a rubber backing so it doesn't slide around and that it is easy to clean. Highly recommend! Read more
This dog or cat mat is really no different from my bath mats and my door mat that I got on here so it does not have to be used for your pets food and water. Though it does work great for that. It has beautiful colors and is very pretty. The flowers look like the listing photos and I love it. They show washing by hand but I think you could wash in cold water and hang to dry. With pets that’s important. $22.99 is on the high end, but I won’t complain because it seems to be a good product that is a good quality. Read more
