I have a Black Lab, miniature Australian Shepherd and a Chiweenie. All with different nail sizes, some are all black, some are white, and some are a mix of black and white nails but THESE WORK. Ignore the negative Nancy’s on here saying they don’t work because that is a lie. I’ve noticed majority of the people complaining on the reviews about this product are females and the ones telling the truth about this item working are male. Listen to the men who are saying these work, because yes they do work. The grinder works great too. My dogs have different size nails and this grinder has three different sizes for their nails. The grinder has two different speeds and is not loud at all. My dogs loved it. Cleaning after using the grinder is very easy too. I would definitely recommend using this product and I would definitely buy these as a gift for others. I would also buy these again if something should happen to mine. Couldn’t ask for a better nail grooming kit. The light on it is okay but I don’t really need it. The clippers and the grinder are both so easy to use. This polisher is absolutely amazing! I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback. He does not like his nails clipped at all and is getting grumpier as his years progress. This polisher was very easy to use, and filed his nails down quickly. The sound is maybe that of the polishers at a nail salon and did not seem to bother or upset him at all. There are 3 size ports for the nails to fit to be polished down. This feature was great to have as my dog literally has all 3 sized nails. I simply cannot say enough about how great of a product this is! I highly recommend it! It has a light function that I did not feel helped me to see the wick of his nail. It comes with a lid to keep secure. The lid is easily removable. The switches slide up and down to turn on and off with ease. There are clippers if you would rather use those. I did not use them. You also have a replacement grinding wheel and a charging cord. It is very easy to take apart to clean, or change the grinding wheel. This is a quieter option than others i had tried over the years. Simple to use. This set is intended to first clip the pets nails as normal and then use the grinder to smooth the surface and edges. The grinder is NOT intended for grinding overgrown nails instead of cutting. Once nails ate properly cut, the grinder could easily be used to keep and maintain the nails if used daily/ weekly. I have 3 huskies that I personally consider medium sized although a lot of people consider them large. Their nails are not as thick as a lab or mastiff. With that said, even with arthritis, i had no problem clipping their nails with the nail clipper. Was able to grind 1 paw before they said they had enough. Which is more than I actually expected. After a few trimmings, im sure they will be soon laying back and enjoying the grinder as another part of their pampering routine. Read more

Pretty good for beginners, not the best for nail filing . Could be a more sharper tip but my dogs nails are doing well. I have a chihuahua so his nails grow overnight lol so I constantly trim his at least every other Sunday. Read more

Works well is very quiet until it touches the dogs nail then the dog reacts like he or she is being tickled. It takes time to teach and the dog gets use to it. Very well built we like the product. Read more
