Our girls are big chewers and they are entertained with these for a long time. Very durable, as one of our dogs is a strong chewer and she has yet to even make a dent in these. The treats will come out, but not easily, ensuring interaction. I get this for anyone with a new puppy, as it’s a definite win! Read more
This was purchased for our mini dachshund puppy , he loves it , lasted for about 4 wks and then he was able to bite the top part off . I did purchase this item again because this kept him busy but needs to be supervised when he is playing with it Read more
This balls ( I have several) keeps my energetic medium size dog busy with various treats, he can roll around to remove kibble, or lick at a larger treat wedged in. I also freeze treats into the ball for longer lasting engagement. He has learned it is more for licking than chewing. He can also play fetch with it. Read more
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this treat ball for my Shepherd/Husky mix who enjoys playing fetch, enjoys chewing on things, and enjoys treats. I put her favorite chicken jerky bits inside the ball and she has been chewing the ball and playing with it almost non stop for days. The material that the ball is made of is VERY durable and stands up to aggressive, extended duration of chewing. I didn't need to cut the flaps on the ball at all because I was able to break up the treat pieces small enough that they made her work at it to get them out, but not so difficult that she would get discouraged. The ball is a good size for a medium-large dog, and also bouncy and great for throwing, chasing, fetching. Highly recommended. Read more
It didn't work. the treats didn't come out. i cut the flaps, they still didn't come out. I have a 14# dog, this was the small size. It wasn't small enough and the treats didn't come out. since I cut the flaps, I figured I couldn't send it back so I trashed it. Don't waste your money. Read more
The media could not be loaded. My dog loves this ball, but he does get tired of it, primarily because the treats do not come out of the ball, as described or hoped. The balls are made of thick rubber material that is very durable/strong, and I think that's part of the problem. I have a larger miniature schnauzer, and he cannot press or manipulate the ball in such a way as to get even a single treat out. So, I'd have to give functionality low marks. The size is great for my boy, and he does enjoy playing with it until he just gives up. Because there are treats inside the ball, our dog does choose to play with this one a lot, always hopeful, I think, that this time will be the time he gets a treat out. So, it is fun for him up to a point. I'd buy it again, but only knowing that it's never going to dispense the treats unless I empty it for him. Read more
My year old Rottweiler has discovered that his teeth are absolutely capable of chewing though literally anything. To protect our walls and furnitures, I've been buying durable chew toys for him to gnaw on while I'm out at work. This helps to keep him preoccupied while still enjoying an enriching game of "chaos and destruction" as quickly as possible. The material is a tough rubber with little nubs on the side, perfect for his chewing sessions. A lot of the hard coated rubber toys I worry about him chipping a tooth accidentally or even swallowing little shards. This toy has proven to be a lot safer than some of the other toys that advertise "for tough chewing" but only time will tell! Will probably buy a 2nd one if I come home one day and see it shredded like all the others. For right now, my little maniac loves this ball and has declared it his new favorite. Read more
