Excellent quality! Great for training our 6 month doodle mix, Tess! (St Bernard/Great Perenese/Labradoodle) Honestly, we were at our wits end for what to do with our puppy but were hesitant to buy an ecollar. We really thought we would need to use the shock with her (she is stubborn when she wants to go on adventures in the woods and get into things she doesn't always come to our calls) but in this first week (a few short 15 minute sessions/day) she is responding SO great to just the vibration and beep alone, no shock. She has associated the beep with a treat, so when she hears our calls from a distance we can beep her at the same time and she will immediately come to the back door for a treat (we beep her again when she returns for the treat too to reinforce the good obedience)! She has responded so well we are even able to teach her some tricks as well! She can already do "high five" with her paw! This ecollar works really well, the instructions and set up are easy to follow, the charge has held throughout this week of training and still going strong! We can't say enough good things about this collar! An ecollar is a TOOL to compliment your training! This collar will do everything you need to have a good training experience with your doggo! Update: Still using it and believe it’s worth the price BUT we lost one of the prongs on the receiver. I didn’t realize they unscrewed and it fell out. Pup plays rough and I’m sure it happened during roughhousing. Still works fine and is effective. I have never used a training collar before but the 8-month-old lab puppy we got from a neighbor was out of control. Immediate difference in behavior. Have not needed to shock her, primarily using the beeps, occasionally the vibration. People comment on how far she has come in just a week. The only cons are design issues with the remote. I wear it clipped onto my waistband and the antenna catches on my shirt. Also, the clip doesn't hold very well. The remote falls off with basic movement and needs to be repositioned frequently. I received my order even quicker then I expected, which was great. I love how easy the collar is to use and the fact that the collar is not big and bulky on my dog. You can lock the remote to keep from shocking your dog on accident, which I really like. Adjusting the settings for the shock and vibration is very easy and convienent. I've never had a collar where you can adjust the vibration as well as the shock, which really comes in handy for me since I use the beep and vibration more then the shock since I have a small dog. The receiver and collar both seem to be made very well and I believe it is well worth the price. I would purchase this item again without hesitation. Read more
