We got this toy for our coonhound, and she really enjoys it. That said, she was able to chew off some parts more easily than expected, so it’s not truly indestructible. Overall, it keeps dogs entertained and is fun to play with, but owners of aggressive chewers should supervise and be aware it may wear down faster than advertised. Read more

4 month check in with Tini Weeny . President of the aggressive chewers club. Love how it doesn’t squeak , great price…leaves pieces all over the floor to sweep up tho but I prefer this over fluff everywhere any day. Durable enough for inside and outside play easy to rinse off when dirty. One of my dogs FAVORITE toys!!! This is a great item for aggressive chewers! It will keep him occupied for a good bit of time. This is not a toy for throw and fetch. It does not squeak. It is quite heavy and quite frankly could cause damage if thrown. This is simply one of the best time consuming chewing toys for my golden retriever!! Read more
We adopted a dog from our local shelter and when he got to his forever home, he found all kinds of things to chew, that we didn't want him to chew. Ordered this and its lasted a long time for him as a heavy chewer. Now he is a little lab, so not too sure how a German shepard would do. But he loves it. Read more
My nearly 3 year old golden retriever loves her gator! First off, the reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the toy is very hard and clunky plastic. When she drops it on the floor, it echos around the house. If she has it in her mouth and starts swinging it around, the toy is so hard that it would hurt to get hit with, or have it dropped on your foot. I love that it is blue because that is one of the colors dogs can see. My girl was so excited when we first gave it to her and she still carries it around months later. She is not an overly aggressive chewer, but she is a golden so she needs that oral fixation. She hasn't destroyed the toy at all. There are a few bite and puncture marks here and there, but nothing like what some of the reviews have shown their dogs doing. You know your dog best. If they are an extremely aggressive chewer, then this toy may not last long before you have to take it away. But know that it is made of a very very hard plastic. My boyfriend and I's jaws literally dropped after feeling how hard it is and seeing the photos from the reviews. I expect this toy to last my girl years after how it has held up so far. Another thing worth noting, this isn't a great toy to throw around or play with with your dog, as it is so hard.
