What a great toy for a bored weiner dog. Our long haired dachshund is really having a ball with this refillable treat dispenser. She goes all over the house flipping it with her nose and has gotten great at retrieving it from under furniture too. I recommend it for all dogs. Read more

My dog HATED this thing. He took to it right away, and was able to master eating his meals from it immediately upon presenting it to him, but he gave me the nastiest of looks every time I set it front of him. He seemed confused and frustrated that I would make him work for his food. With that said, I wasn't fond of it from the minute I pulled it out of the box. I knew immediately that it wasn't ever going to get clean. And forget about getting it to quickly dry. Water gets trapped everywhere inside, so if you don't allow at least a week's drying time (while periodically shaking it to get the water out), then when you put food inside it, it gets stuck because it is now wet. This made my very frustrated dog even more angry at the contraption. I was too worried about bacteria and mold growing in all it's nooks and crannies so the toy got pitched within the month. The slide "button/tab" that determines the size of the opening for the kibble can get changed by the toy moving around the floor. A detent position that clicks into place for different sizes would be helpful. Hopefully there are enough common sizes of kibble to make a detent position. We had to intervene a number of times to help the dog. Also, Sometimes the kibble gets trapped by the 3 weights that protrude inside (small cones). Read more

My puppy finally got the hang of this! He loves it and knows when I put it down that I've filled it back up with treats. Read more

My dog loves puzzle balls like this. I use them for his full meal. However, the main feature of this treat ball doesn't work. It is advertised that you can change the size of the opening in order to adjust the difficulty and accommodate different food/treat sizes. The problem is the slider is easily pushed shut by my dog's movements. I have to reopen it at least three or four times per session. I won't be using it anymore. There are better products out there. Product is as described but the top locking lid does not stay on very securely. My puppy was able to knock it off twice because the locking groove in the lid are not high quality. Dispensing hole works great and adjustable dial stays in place once set for size. Read more

I bought two of these - one for each granddog. My larger granddog ate through the toy in a matter of hours leaving small hard plastic pieces all over the floor and many of which she ate. This could be dangerous to her stomach and she was quite ill and shaking the next day. Coincidence or not? We don't know but she's never been sick like that before (1 yo 40 pound pitt mix). The other one I bought for my granddog Frankie - who is a miniature weaner dog ;-). She was given the toy on the same weekend as my other granddog (Charlie). She played with it for maybe an hour, picked it up in her little mouth (1 yo old, 10 pounds) and brought it up on the couch with her. When it dropped to the floor, it smashed into pieces. Useless. I can't return either gift as they were both thrown away. A waste of $20 in total. Do not purchase this toy. Read more
