With so many duplicates being sold on Amazon of similar, same old designs, or exact styles, just different vendors, I found this sweater to be unique and exceptional. That is a rare find on Amazon. It is fitted to be oversized, but not huge. The green is beautiful and will go with jeans or my orange cords for fall. I absolutely love the neck design, almost like a starburst from the top of the mock turtleneck. It has the look and feel of mohair without actually being made from goat hair. Soft and slightly fuzzy and it hits below the hip. Full sleeves with nice long cuffs. Cozy, warm and luxurious and runs true to size. Machine washed delicate very well and dried in the dryer completely on very low setting for synthetics. Came out of the dryer unwrinkled and softer than before I washed and dried it. I was looking for a warm sweater I could wear around the house during the fall and winter months, as our house has forced hot air heating, and if relaxing and sitting around in the colder weather, I find I almost always am reaching for a blanket, robe or sweater to stay comfortably warm enough when indoors. This oversized sweater is perfect for those cooler days, as it is cozy warm. I honestly have not been cold since I started wearing it before the holidays. It has been so comfortable, I have had to tell myself I can't wear this sweater every day, no matter how cozy it makes me feel. Despite my best intentions, I have not been successful in not doing that - as I have slipped it on for at least part of every day this past week because it has been rainy and cold all week long This sweater itself has a really cute bodice. It is simple, but attractive, with the contrasting stitch pattern around the neckline with its cable sort of stitch. Below, the bodice is finished with a more shaker style sweater look. The bottom of the sweater, as well as the wristline, are finished off with a ribbed edge helping to keep the sleeves from being so loose as to get in the way of your activities. It also allows you to easily push up the sleeves and have them stay in place, if you need or want to do that. I also like the more mock style neckline, as it is more comfortable for me than having a true turtleneck sweater where you need to turn down the collar. Also, because this sweater is on the warmer side of things, I would think having a true turtleneck might have been a little too much in terms of the sweater's overall warmth. The only thing I am not crazy about is the big bulky sleeves, which makes it a bit hard for coats with narrow arms to fit ok. The wool used in making this sweater has not caused me to have any skin issues, as it is not particularly itchy or uncomfortable against my skin. I did order this sweater in an XL size. I probably would normally wear a size 16 unless something is really fitted on the bust line. While the XL is ok size wise on me as I wanted this sweater to seem cozy and warm (almost like a glorified blanket), I do think I probably could have worn a size L without any issues, as this sweater is already oversized. I am really happy with the warmth this sweater provides, as it is perfect for the cold winters. I do think if you live in a warmer climate where winters are not exceptionally cold, this sweater might be warmer than you would want. Read more
