Customers find the HVAC blend door repair kit works well and is made of good quality parts.
It worked perfect. The instructions were spot on. plenty of foil to patch it back up. To remove the center piece out, i took a long drill bit and drilled a lot of holes next to each other all the way around and them used a wood chisel to cut through it. I don't have a Dremel tool but that would have worked better. Read more
Installed on my 03 Ram 1500. My heater was only blowing warm on the passenger side. Then, recently, NO HEAT! Both of my temp blend doors were broken, causing no heat and reduced floor airflow. Worked great in my 04 Ram. I cut glove box back panel and here with a hot knife/chisel (torched metal 🔪 🔥) cuts clean like butter. Way easier than pulling dash! Read more

Awesome. Worked Great, exactly as described with good instructions. Highly recommend. I recommend buying all Blend Doors at the same time and not just replacing the ONE that is broken, you will save a lot of headache when installing. I used this for a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500. Read more
The is that you going to have with these are the drive gears they send only works for the upper blend door. The lower blenddoor requires a drive gear to be positioned 180 degree in the opposite direction. You would think that Doorman would make other side insert work with one key. That's too big of an idea to implement. YOU GONNA HAVE TO MODIFY THE DRIVE GEAR KEY WITH A DRIMMEL. OR USE THE SAME CRAPPY PLASTIC ONE IF THAT ONE IS BROKE. I wasted 2 days thinking it was me and was there a second part number for the lower blendoor. It's the dummies at Doorman. They don't even have the brain power have one end of the door work for the lower and when flipped the other side would work the upper. I had go and a dreamed. Wasted two days. The door works and you modify it. Whoever is saying it worked perfectly only did the upper. I should have went with Blenddoor USA ones but was being cheap....and ended up with 5000 lbs paperwork with dash tore apart and questioning what engineer signed off this idiotic design. Upper and Lower are rhe same part number. Save the connecting rod and both of those drive gears. I regret being cheap. This job already suxs....Doorman makes really really annoying. Read more
