Excellent value, excellent pigment/darkness, arrived quickly. I feel super cute using them. The liner ends are lovely, smooth, light. I use them for corrections on upper lid and wings with a larger set that I have, and to fill in any uneven spots after applying falsies. The stamps tho: the heart works perfect, the moon is next best, and I can't get the star to do a complete stamp without coloring the stamp with another liner first. And if you press too hard trying to get them to stamp all the way, they'll leave little circle marks around the design--and since the liner is so good and smudge proof, it's a difficult mistake to correct! 😬 They took me some practice, but I'm not great at makeup. I like this product - Double-headed Liquid Eyeliner Pen Stamp Super Slim Gel Felt Tip Waterproof Long Lasting Makeup Tool(Heart/Moon/flower/Star Shape Stamp Pen, 4 Styles/Set). I tried out each of the stamps and I can safely say that this is a good value for your money. I also tried out the eyeliner. Here are the positives. I like how the stamps and the eyeliner do not rub off once dry. They also did not rub off under cool or lukewarm water. They rub off under warm to hot water. This product seems like it'd last a good amount of time, even with some sweating, as it took rubbing my hand under warm running water for 15 seconds or so to remove the product. I also applied a stamp next to my eye and removed it with a makeup wipe. So you can either rinse the product off with warm-hot water or use a makeup wipe for product removal. The product did not cause any irritation or redness. To use these, firmly stamp for about three seconds. Do not stamp too hard, otherwise you risk having a circular type line around the stamp. See attached image. Basically, stamp firmly enough to apply enough of the product, but not too hard. Also, try to stamp on even or flatter areas, otherwise the shape may get messed up. See image for this, too. I would recommend this product, either for personal use or as a gift. If planning to give as a gift, I recommend repackaging somehow, because the four boxes of pens come in a plastic bag with a label on it. Read more
One of the main reasons I wanted to get this eyeliner is because of the cute little stamps that come on the opposite side of the eyeliner tip. This 3 pack comes with three Styles this one particular comes with a star a heart and a moon. However I was really sad when I open them up in the star was the only one that really works pretty well. The moon one wouldn't work hardly at all at first and I did wet it a little bit to see if the ink maybe just dried up a little too much but you really have to push hard to get it to leave enough ink to even make a stamp on your skin which leaves a ring around it which is kind of lame. The heart Works a little bit but you definitely have to do it a couple times to get it dark enough to make it look nice. The star works perfectly though and you can stamp it really lightly on your skin and make the perfect star mark. I was pretty sad about that. The other side of all three of them works just fine and the tip is really nice and makes it really easy to get a nice cat eye out of it. It does a very nice wing effect on the lid. The other thing I noticed not that it really matters, is the fact that you're going to have to open each and everyone to see which one has which stamp on it because the boxes are identical and don't show you any indication of which one is inside the Box except for the little ID number on the side but I don't know enough about the ID number to know which stamp it correlates to. You get what you pay for, and for $10, three eyeliners really isn't bad at all. Unfortunately the only part of them I wanted to work (the stamps) didn't pan out, hence the three stars. The eyeliner itself - totally acceptable. Especially for beginners/quick and easy costume purposes. It does smudge rather easily so if you're hoping for an easy throw-on-and-go liner I'd invest in something else, otherwise you'll want to pair this with a good eye primer and/or setter to last! The stamps themselves didn't really work for me, which was a big bummer, especially since it was my reason for buying. The moon and star worked once and then blanked, and the heart seemed to only be inked well on half the stamp (almost worked!) You have to press a bit, and if you've got paper skin like I do, that means you'll have to live with a hot minute of redness and marks. As long as they're not total duds, just filling in whatever outline the stamp gives you does work pretty well - using one eyeliner to ink the stamp on another is alright for that if your stamp IS a total bust. Does come with some plastic excess - they come secure in a little plastic baggy. Opening that, all three boxes are individually wrapped in a thin plastic. Once you open the box, each of the eyeliners will also be inside a thin plastic cover. Definitely secure, but a little annoying to open, and feels wasteful. I don't regret the money spent here - I spent $10 and got a $10 product out of it - but I wouldn't buy it again since 2/3 of the stamps didn't work after the first use as expected, and the one that did was only halfway successful!
