I absolutely love this soap bar! As soon as I opened the package, I could smell it and it smelled just like a bakery. The scent is stronger when you first open the box, but when you use the soap it’s more gentle and still smells really good on your skin. I had trouble finding this particular scent of Dove bar soap anywhere else and was so excited to find it on Amazon. Vanilla is one of my favorite scents, and this bar delivers! It produces a nice lather, rinses clean, and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry like some other soap bar brands have in the past. I would absolutely buy this again for myself or as a gift. the scent power on these bars is insane. i could smell the soaps through the box they came in. I've also had to triple-wrap the unopened soaps in plastic bags just to contain the scent and not have it stick onto other things in my house. that being said, the fragrance is very nice and warm. it's more lactonic than it is vanilla, but I still thoroughly enjoy it since most of my body lotions and perfumes are warm vanilla scents. it's a perfect base if you also like to layer scents in your hygiene routine. I've been using dove beauty bars ever since I could remember, and these perform just as well as all their other scents. the only reason why it's not 5* is because the strong scent is an inconvenience to me, but it's otherwise a great product that I'll be using daily until I get sick of it! I purchased this event in the body wash months ago, but has absolutely no clue there was a matching bar soap until February 2026. This smells absolutely unbelievable. It literally smells like you could take a bite out of the bar. This needs to be sold in 12 packs and I really hope that it is not limited edition !
