My 40 lb puppy loves these monster squeaky toys. But even though he hasn't ripped apart the outside of any of them one of the squeaker balls stopped working within 20 min. That's pretty disappointing for the price paid and the fact that these are labeled as squeaker "CHEW". My dog is only a moderate chewer and the squeaky ball inside not working after a few chews is not cool. Anyway the exterior of the toy is still intact and he loves playing with them so they deserve 4 stars. They are a great size as well. Read more

To start, these are on the larger side -- so probably not a good choice for small breeds. My dog is right around 20# and I can't imagine these being a good match for a dog too much smaller than that. My dogs love de-stuffing, so I know that the likelihood of this toy lasting long was low -- but it's a treat to let them destuff, so it just comes down to how long will the toy hold up. With all the attachments (arms/legs, etc...) there is a lot there that could come right off. So the end result? yes the toy was gutted and the precious squeaker extracted... but amazingly, most of the appendages lasted through the tussle between two dogs before they managed a hole in the fabric. Even though there is no longer any stuffing and squeaker, the toy will still be usable to toss around. If you are looking for a long lasting toy for a destructive dog - this is not it. If you have a dog that likes to destuff and just want something to last more than 2 minutes, this might be a good option for that occasional treat. I think overall I am just impressed how well the appendages held on - since those are usually the weak points. Read more

I can't give these less stars because my wild animals - I mean dogs tore them up fast. My dogs tear up everything fast. The point is did they enjoy it and the answer to that is Yes! They loved chewing these all to pieces, ripping the squeaky part out of them and chewing that up as well. They love ripping the cotton out, ripping the little legs off and throwing the toy around the yard and dragging it around the house, carrying them to bed and fighting over them. Gambling is stupid, if you think about it, but did you have fun while you were playing? That's the concept here. My dogs loved these chew toys while they lasted and if I bought these again, they would be overjoyed to see them put all back together and ready for another round! Read more

So Cal and Camden our 14 and 12 year old golden retrievers are in love with these. They are bright and goofy and look hysterical hanging from their mouths. They are a sort of ball shape which makes them easy to throw. The cord that is on them makes it easy to play tug of war (although it is a little short so if your dog is powerful, it's probably not adequate for a fair fight) and then there's the squeak. These suckers SQUEAK. They have a very robust squeaker in them so if this is something that drives you nuts, maybe this isn't the toy for your household. We love that our boys love the squeak and get a kick out of it (to a point). Overall these are FANTASTIC. I don't know how long they'll make it with our boys as they pick and choose which toys are destined to be destroyed and there is no rhyme or reason. These definitely and not what I would call "indestructible" and if your four legged kiddo likes to immediately rip things apart, these are not going to withstand that! Read more

I have a super chewer lab mix and a heeler mix that LOVE shredding toys. It took them a full week to tear these ones up. I didn't realize there was a bonus toy inside! Spikey, squeaky plastic balls. They keep squeaking even when there's a big hole in them! A few months in and 2 of the 3 balls are still intact and well loved. They don't get slippery and slobbery like tennis balls, so our never ending fetch games aren't quite as gross anymore. I will be buying them again! Read more
