High-Quality Vegan Castile Orange-Scented Soap for Body, Hair and Everything!
It makes me smell like oranges. I love that! As a castile soap, it's vegan...yay! The first, larger, bottle I got elsewhere seemed too harsh to use in my hair, but these smaller bottles from Amazon, (combined with a shower water filter to soften our hard, city water and actually create a lather), seem fine. I've seen varying opinions, so I'm thinking strength can vary. My hair's on the drier side and I'm on the older side, for some reference. I use it mostly as a body soap and it's wonderful. It's my preferred soap. I think it works as well as or slightly better than Suave Milk & Honey, which I also use. For hand soap and shaving, I prefer the Suave, but the Dr. Bronner's will de-gunk you--especially if you've been sweating a lot--much quicker. You can use it to wash just about anything, though cats don't like citrus so I wouldn't bathe a cat with it. I know you can use it for clothes, but have read that there can be a build-up. I love the smell and quality so much that I'd like to find out if I can use something in the rinse to combat build-up so that I could use it on my clothes. Read more
