I love how firm this pillow is. Its nice and thick so it makes it so much easier to prop baby up. The firmness makes it so that baby isn't sinking and difficult to position like regular breastfeeding pillows. The cover comes off really easy too. I wish it was a bit longer so that it can accommodate growing baby easier. The cover has started to pill a bit from the washing machine. I would stick to handwashing only with the cover. Read more

For taller parents or those with a longer torso (like me), the height isn’t quite enough—I still need to add another cushion underneath to bring the baby up to a comfortable nursing position. Otherwise, I end up leaning forward, which isn’t ideal for posture. Another thing to note is that this pillow doesn’t have any back support. If you rely on a pillow with a built-in backrest (like some competing brands), you may miss that extra support during longer feeds. Very thick pillow that's great for support! We use this as our little one is learning to sit up on their own, and we put it behind her during play time in case she falls backward. The shape is perfect for when she's sitting as well as using it on your lap for feeding. It's very easy to use when feeding and baby is falling asleep to keep your arms supported as well. This is a nice supportive memory foam material, but I didn't notice any smells or off putting qualities. We still use our daily and I enjoy it more than the boppy pillow. Read more

Man this thing is heavy!!! But it is that weight that makes the design of this pillow work. I was initially a little concerned that with no back strap the pillow would be constantly sliding away from me or that my baby would wiggle it away and fall between. Not the case at all. You really won't believe how heavy this thing is until it arrives but trust there will be no sliding issues. The pillow is still soft and comfy for baby though. The cover is also nice and soft and is easy enough to remove for cleaning. Because this didn't have the back strap and looked a bit smaller than my other feeding pillow I ordered it to keep in my trunk supplies for when we are away from home. No more stealing bed pillows to feed the baby when we're at grandma's house! But it's also good sized to use in the car when needed also. I fed my baby in the car with this over the weekend and we were perfectly comfortable. I honestly didn't expect to like it so much but I might like it better than my everyday home pillow! I won't switch them because this one is more portable but if I had to recommend a pillow to someone that didn't have one, I'd say get this one and just get two if you want a travel pillow like I did.
