It is one of the few things he has tried that actually felt like it made a difference, and he stayed compliant taking the whole bottle. Serving size is one capsule, which was easy for him to take. He only took it once per day, instead of the recommended twice daily, so the bottle actually lasted him 2 months, and he still felt the energy benefit he was hoping for. I am a little skeptical because of the low price, because shilajit sourced from the Himalayan Mountains is usually a lot more expensive. Totally not happy . Don't go with the cheap product. First it said few days delivery & it took a mth. Then I get it & find warning product can expose you to lead. A health product you take to get healthy but beware of the lead poisoning you'll get from our product. This gotta be a bad joke. I have taken Shilajit in different forms before and wanted to try this capsule product. Each bottle of Shilajit Extract from Dr. Herbalist comes with 60 capsules. The directions say to take one capsule twice per day, making it a 30 day supply. The size of the capsules is on the medium side. See photo for reference. They are easy to swallow with water. I personally really like the capsules for Shilajit compared to both gummies and raw Shilajit as I find them more convenient and more palatable. The formulation is made up of 450 mg of Shilajit per serving out of which 90 mg Is Fulvic Acid. The manufacturer states that the formulation helps support natural energy and vitality, endurance and daily performance, strength and stamina and that it is a rich source of trace minerals. Based on what I know about Shilajit, these claims sound reasonable. *What is worth highlighting is that this product has a Prop 65 warning on the label. I have seen at least one other Shilajit product with a Prop 65 warning on the label due to having naturally occurring trace amounts of heavy metals, such as lead. I read that this is tied to California’s stringent regulations. Even if the amounts are well below harmful levels it can still trigger a Prop 65 warning. However, reputable manufacturers take steps to minimize the levels to assure that they are safe for consumers. I do not know what the thresholds are and I do not know the levels in the product or what steps this manufacturer has taken to make it as safe as possible for consumers. Given the presence of the Prop 65 warning it would have been nice to know a little bit more about the manufacturing process and if and where it was tested and something that would reassure me that it is a safe product. I do think this is a quality product. I do like the capsule format. Given the days of supply and the price point, I think this is a good value. While I think it’s a good product, I deducted two stars as I would have wanted more information related to the prop 65 warning and the manufacturing and testing process to feel confident that it is safe.
