I work in manufacturing, cement floors, 10+ hour days. These boots take the beating. They run slightly big, I wear a 12, could have gotten away with 11.5, though the 12 are still slim for the size. I also use a leather plantar fasciitis style insert for additional padding as these soles are sturdy. Read more

I purchased these boots in April of 2019, and they’ve received lighter than normal use since working from home since COVID began. A week ago I noticed that the soles on BOTH boots were falling apart, splitting right down the middle, in the exact same way. To me this is an obvious manufacturing defect. I reached out to the company only to learn that Dr. Martens wouldn’t do anything about it as there’s only a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty. I’d hoped that buying a Dr. Marten product meant I was buying a quality item. I’ve taken care of these boots to ensure they’d last me for years, just like the other Dr. Marten products I’ve purchased. I’m not sure when things changed, but clearly they have. I’ll no longer be giving them anymore business. Read more
