These are great mild compression socks! I wore them for a full day - 2 1/2 hours driving, then intermittently standing, sitting, walking, and cooking for 8 hours--- not a heavy day of activity but my ankles were slim and barely swollen at the end of the day - these socks really helped as normally there would be some medium swelling. They are nice weight and texture and great value - I will wear these for work on a regular basis and look forward to buying a second set. I pair to my elderly mother and she was able to get them on herself and said they helped her ankles and calves - regular - heavier compression socks are too hard for her to put on herself. These are comfortable, fit as described and stay put on your feet and calves. They're definitely not super-strength compression hose, but it appears those who are on their feet all day are finding them serviceable. I like the colors, and they're not thick or bulky (some compression socks are hugely thick). I am 5'6", and they cover part of my kneecap if I pull them all the way up. I'd like it if they came just under the kneecap, because they do create a small bulge at the top (whether pulled all the way up or folded over) if I wear them under leggings. However, they're perfect for hanging around the house and for wearing under other types of pants. Read more

There’s light compression so easy to get on and off without a struggle, feel great to wear, very comfortable, lighter feel than other tighter nylon compression socks, but still keep legs and feet warm in cooler weather. I wouldn’t wear these in the summer though, and bought these specifically for colder weather and they were great. They’re also very durable through multiple washings and keep their shape/fit, but wash on delicate and dry on low or air dry to keep their shape and they’ll last for years. My first set I had for five years before the foot part started to wear a little thin from rubbing inside my shoes all day. The colors I ordered were exactly what I wanted and typically hard to find in other sock brands. The foot part is a little extra cushiony in the heels and sole, an added plus since that’s the part that usually wears out first. Highly recommended! Read more

I read lots of local reviews and was a little worried about the size of these. There was no size to be selected. I was a little worried, that being 5’2”, they might be too big for me. Or that they’d go all the way up to my hips? I’ve had some socks which required me to stuff the heel part under my foot, to keep it from flopping out of my shoes. Not that bad with these. I did bend part of the sock toe under my toes and it’s comfortable. I don't have wide calves, but these fit quite well. Not as compressed as my regular diabetes knee high socks, but they are easy to put on, they fit to the knees and feel very nice. (I can twist them on the leg to get a little more compression.) They give me a day of less pressure, so it's a relief of tighter socks. I wash them by hand, which helps to keep them from loosing their support. Anyone who uses compressed socks certainly knows how expensive these socks can be, and this package of socks is the best price I’ve ever seen. I would even recommend these for men, as the color’s are perfect for those men who wear suits at work. I’m very happy that I bought them and will have them for those days that my legs need a break from swelling from other socks. Glad I read those reviews and took the chance that they’d fit OK. I also am glad that Amazon shipped them with my other purchase. I had ordered some doggie shampoo and the Amazon packers were kind enough to slip plastic bags with twisters over those shampoos!! I'm so pleased to find socks in various colors. I've worn mild compression knee highs forever because my legs tend to swell and the compression really helps. I've never found them in anything but beige or black though. I really wanted to find brown, navy and gray that would match my slacks so was pleased to find this combination pack. The colors are just what I wanted, but I also find I like them better than the other hose I was wearing because the tops don't roll at all. They give nice mild support, are reasonably easy to get on and are very comfortable. They are opaque in color, not sheer, in case that's what you are looking for, but feel very smooth under slacks. They do not slide down. They wash well and show no signs of wearing out. I wear a size 9 ladies shoe and have wide calves and these fit me fine although I noticed the gray pair didn't come quite to my knee. Not sure why that was different. The others do. If you have much smaller feet and slim calves I'm sure they'd still fit although you might have excess in the toe and possibly a bit less compression. Read more
