If your self image is not totally dependent on a “swoosh” on the side of your shoes, these leather tennis shoes are great looking, comfortable, quality leather and an absolute steal for the money! The upper right side near the top lace hole was uncomfortable in the right shoe causing uncomfortable pressure near the ankle when I first tried them on but just “working” the leather for a minute eliminated the issue completely (new leather is typically stiff). I bought these for my husband for Christmas and he loves them. He's on his feet alot and he says they really help his feet not hurt near as much as they do with other shoes. He says they are really cushion and very comfortable and supportive. They also don't pinch his feet. I purchased these after having worn the New Balance Casual Comfort Cross Trainers. The New Balance shoes were no longer comfortable and were always poorly made. These Dr. Scholl's shoes are more comfortable than the New Balance. They have more room to allow for the orthotics I need to wear. However, they look almost exactly like the New Balance, and have the same quality issues. After only five months, the bit of the sole that turns up at the front of the shoe is already separating, letting water into the shoe. Better fit, but still, cheap junk. Read more
