I really needed a pair of good looking shoes in 12 wide. Never thought I would buy a pair of shoes from Amazon but when the the virtual try on, I couldn't resist! Anyway, I bought a pair in black and they looked great and Dut even better. I live these shoes so much that I bought a second pair in brown. They are sleek and really look great. I actually had a funny story when I wire them to a high-end sinner recently in Chicago. I have a good friend who spends thousands on expensive shoes! So we leave dinner and I look at him and ask him how he likes my new designer shoes. He says he loves the design and I tell him they are designed by a well known German designer. Of course he asks me who and I tell him “Dr. Scholl” he howled! anyway, I just wore them on a long trip to Sweden where I wore my brown shoes all the way over and then wore my black shoes the entire trip while I was there in business meetings, and then all the way back on the airplane and they were superbly comfortable, and they look terrific. they are not made of leather, but they breathe nicely and they do look like leather so I would really recommend them highly. Shoes are comfortable. However I work on my feet mostly, sales position so constant walking around. Consistent 10k steps a day. These shoes will start to tear where the leather is creased in less than a month of wearing them. Have had several of these in different colors to cycle out. Then I started mostly wearing the black ones daily (not literally but say 3-4 days out of a 5-6 day work week) and within about 3 weeks of that consistency the tearing begins. Look closely. Will spread quick. Unfortunate because these shoes look good and feel good and are of quality otherwise except the outer leather which is crucial, especially in these types of shoes! Read more

Comfy dress shoes, but not designed to last long term. Mine made it about a year before the "leather" started to crack and flake. However, they are relatively cheap so if you are OK with replacing them in 1-2 years, it's not the worst purchase. I'd rather wear these than standard dress shoes any day, so I may buy another pair.
