I really like this toothpaste, it is a little getting used to because the mint is stronger and more natural tasting if you are used to other kinds of toothpaste, but I would say the taste is not bad and I do like that it is all natural. I like that the tube is 100% recyclable and that you can get a key for fairly cheap to wind down the tube so that you do not waste any (also great for arthritic hands) It seems to work good for sensitivity and my teeth feel cleaner than they have in a while. I’ve been really enjoying this toothpaste. Both this one and the peppermint one taste great, work well, and are relatively clean. My family and I were looking for fluoride, free toothpaste, and came across this brand. We have had it on subscribe and save for several months, I do not regret the switch from mainstream brands. Tastes great with a mild, pleasant flavor. The ingredients look clean and natural, which I really appreciate. The only downside is the packaging — the toothpaste tends to come out on its own, making it a bit messy. Overall, a good product. Read more

This toothpaste tastes amazing if you like cinnamon. It has a warm, clean flavor that makes brushing a lot more enjoyable. It leaves my mouth feeling fresh, and the texture is smooth, not gritty. A really nice natural option that actually tastes good. Read more

We started buying Dr. Sheffield toothpaste around 8 months ago and haven't looked back. Taste, texture, quality, simply ingredients, and zero flouride which are all huge wins in our book. As long as they stick to this practice as they have been for year we will continue to buy their quality products. So far we have tried the Wintergreen, Cinnamon, and Strawberry Banana. All are great! For adults looking for fluoride-free toothpaste: Why? If you're cooking with city water and unless you have a really expensive filter, you're INGESTING fluoride daily. You can't boil things like Fluoride and heavy metals out of water. So...Are you eating your toothpaste? If you can't give up the sugary drinks and have a high carry rate, you should probably look for a toothpaste with extra fluoride unless you like going to the dentist. I don't and I used to work with one. My only advice is from years of observing dental health: Patients on well water that get very little fluoride (most have a high carry rate which prompts the water supply question) and patients who have had too much fluoride along the way and can be observed from teeth formed with hyperplasia. It's about finding a balance. This toothpaste is great for kids but there are other brands that are fluoride free and seem to work better. Brands that start with M and end in Arvis. Ultimately, my teeth did not feel as clean. The other brand makes my mouth feel cleaner than box store toothpastes without the excessive foam. THIS brand is too viscous without the grit- no abrasion whatsoever. It's like brushing with pudding. Just thought I'd try it because the flavors are fun. Nothing personal but just saying there are better fluoride-free brands have a few fun flavors. To be fair, i should include I've only tried the strawberry banana. It is cheaper than my favorite imported brand but I won't be purchasing again. Read more
