Comfy but it STINKS of chemicals!

When we unboxed this we let it air out for about 8 hours before we put sheets over it. Secondly, the mattress pad I received does not have the different “zones” it’s all squiggle pattern. Thirdly, this mattress pad is very comfy we just got a new mattress and it was way too firm and the foam is just the right density we got the 3 inch. AND FINALLY THIS MAYRESS FOAM TOPPER SMELLS LIKE STRAIGHT CHEMICALS! Terrible is burns our nostrils and the scent is so strong it makes my stomach hurt. I give it a 5 star for comfort but 0 stars for the disgusting chemical plastic smell. Edit: I took the mattress topper outside and layed a bed sheet over the grass and placed it on top of the sheet to lay out all day under the blazing hot 105 California heat for about 10 hours and it still did not get rid of the chemical smell…. I highly do not recommend getting this if your sensitive to strong smells. Ik the price point it right but the smell ain’t! Read more

I got this mattress topper for the 'firm' side hoping it would add a bit more support to my new mattress. However, it's definitely not firm by any measure and I might as well sleep on a marshmallow. This mattress pad reminds me of an egg crate mattress topper back in the day, and overall just wasn't what I was hoping for. The different zones on the top side are nice, and do have a different feel to them, but all were too soft for what I was looking for. Unless you're using this for camping or something and have a very firm spot to put this on, just be ready for a really squishy sleep. Read more

Decent medium density memory foam

The foam of this topper has a nice amount of squish to it that add some plushness to a stiffer bed. You don't feel like you sink in a terrible amount but there a a slight amount to relieve pressure on shoulders and hips. I was a bit disappointed when I first received the topper as it did not quite look like the picture. The foam color was the same but the pattern on top does not have the different zones as described in the listing. Instead, the topper I received, was all just a wavy pattern throughout. This pattern is deep with a bit over an inch from peak to valley. The total height does reach about 3 inches from bottom to one of the peaks. Quality wise this is more on the average side. The cut along the foam edge is a bit ragged on one side with the cut thinly going through the peaks making little dangly foam bits. The foam did expand to height within 12 hours of opening. Read more

Horrible chemical odor that won’t go away

We've had this mattress for more than a month and it still smells really bad - a chemical odor. Every day, I've taken all the bedding (including mattress cover) off the bed, opened all windows in the bedroom for cross ventilation. I hung it over the deck rail for a few days and it still smells about like it did when we first unwrapped it. The topper is not usable and perhaps hazardous to our health. Read more
