After 24 hours of expanding, the topper was at 1.5 inches, not 2. We bought this to replace another 2 inch topper with gel that was much too soft. This topper is firm, maybe 8 out of 10 firmness. It's very comfortable. I'm a big dude and I feel like it gives just enough, without my body bottoming out on the mattress. It returns to its original shape quickly. This is the first time I have gotten a product from Amazon that had no company markings on it whatsoever. Usually labels tell you, at least, the company name or composition of materials, otherwise, it is a 1” convoluted foam mat that I believe has made the bed feel hotter. Read more

Haven’t used yet. Sometimes it’s more of a pain to return than to keep. I’m disappointed with the holes and dirt but at least it’s the bottom side and a mattress protector will be used. Will see in a week or so if the pad is any good. Read more

The item I received is 1-5/8" thick on one one side and 1-3/4" thick on another side. The density is less than 1.1 lb per cubic ft, that belongs to a range of low density polyurethane foam. Seller made a false claim . My concern is that it may not last long as a high density foam. It is firm compared to another topper. Two 10lb barbells were placed on the topper. The indentation is 0.7" ( 2.5" height of two barbells -1.8" remaining height measures in the image), while a Sealy topper at Amazon is 1.25". The firmness has nothing to do with density, but its chemical structure. Some sellers mislead buyers. I guess this item is made in China and its manufacturer want lower material cost by making it thinner and at lower density. I really like its firmness. I wish that it were thicker for a better range of support and higher density for long lasting. Read more
