My doctor wanted me to buy a thumb brace to wear at night. This works great. It is as comfortable as something like this can be, the Velcro keeps a strong hold and it stays in place all night. There was a little itch at first from a couple loose stitches inside but that has subsided. I also like that it doesn't make my hand sweat. The only slight issue was in the S/M the thumb part was just a tiny bit shorter than I'd prefer. The brace does allow for some movement and with my top thumb knuckle sticking out I found myself trying to use my thumb as normal causing myself pain. The customer service is wonderful. I singed up per the enclosed instructions for the 12 month warranty. I mentioned the thumb shortness and after a couple communications I was quickly sent the L/XL to fix my issue. I have used hand braces off and on for years. I have several and you could say I am a connaisseur after injuring my thumb in college. Right from the start, this brace has a unique feature. There is a sleeve to secure the thumb before you velcro it into place. Awesome idea and it helps the fit. Also the velcro itself is the type that doesn't snag clothing. Considering the brace is going to be on your hand, it with brush against you clothes constantly. I have items I didn't wear because I knew my old brace would shred them. I have blouses with snags on one side from my previous braces which had heavy duty velcro. The fit and design of this brace is wonderful. Believe me, I have ordered lots of braces that were lousy! This brace for your thumb is one of the best braces I’ve used. I had this injury for a while and a couple diff times as well. And this brace here works very well. It protects the top of your thumb as well as the bottom and the wrist area. Very mobile and comfortable as well. You can still work and text on the keyboard all of that. And if it’s the summer time or hot climate and you become sweaty or it gets dirty It’s very easy to wash and it drys up very quickly. Read more
