I used the drill brush to clean my shower...it's never been so clean and I was surprised by how well it cleaned. I don't know what the negative reviews on this product are all about...these brushes are AWESOME! If you don't know how to work a cordless drill, don't buy this. If you can't hold a drill and put a little elbow grease on it for pressure while cleaning, then don't buy this. But on the other hand, if you have enough strength to hold the drill and supply just a little pressure to aid in cleaning, you are going to LOVE these cleaning brushes! I really hated scrubbing the shower by hand with some cleaner and a regular brush, but this makes that task soooo much easier. And as mentioned previously, what guy doesn't like to use power tools to get a job done?! My guess on any negative comments would be that either the person using these brushes didn't have any strength at all or that they used a cheap, low power drill, or both. It seems pretty funny to use a drill to clean your shower, but this thing rocks! My hubby uses it (if you want him to clean your shower, let him use a drill to do it! haha). It has a lot of power, depending on your drill of course. We use it on our B&D cordless drill and it works great. Easy to insert and makes cleaning tile a breeze (at least, that's what he tells me). He uses Cleaning Vinegar on the tile which works really well. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to clean tile, grout, etc. I review hundreds of products I buy on Amazon and rely on reviews from others a lot too. We paid Full Price for this and would again. I only rate items 5 stars if I would pay full price for it or be willing to give them as a gift. I do give 1 star (since you can't give 0) to items which are so bad that I throw away or wouldn't want even if free. I try to mention all the pros and cons of products, because I check reviews often for the hundreds of items I buy online. I bought this to scrub the EPDM roof of my travel trailer. I had neglected it for the better part of a 1 1/2 years. Being parked under a tree, it tends to turn brown/green and grow the typical black algae crud that EPDM liners so often do. I climbed up top last night armed with a water hose, my power drill, the flat brush head and a bottle of Camco Rubber Roof Cleaner & Conditioner. Being a power drill attachment, it can be a little tiresome to stabilize the drill while scrubbing large surface areas. Think of a hand held floor buffer... I used mostly light pressure, not wanting to risk burning my drill out if I pressed too hard because my drill isn't used to constant run times. Even with light pressure, the stiff nylon bristles worked very well at scrubbing away 80% of the caked on crud including the black stains on the roof. The included picture isn't the best quality (taken in the middle of the night) but it's pretty obvious that the brush is effective for my purpose! I've only completed 1/3rd of the roof so far - it is a bit time intensive but this is far more effective than your typical pole-style blue scrub brush used for RV's. The classic blue pole-style "car wash" brush has too soft of bristles to remove the stains and crud. A power washer would work obviously but mine got borrowed by a neighbor... and we all know how that ends. Overall, I'd say it would be very effective at scrubbing most surfaces - and safe enough to use on EPDM roof liner (even with moderate pressure) The construction is pretty solid. The body of the brush is a thick ABS type black plastic, with the drill bit mounted inside. It doesn't seem flimsy, and I don't have any immediate concerns about the bit breaking free from the body - unless I throw it off the roof or drop a tool box on it maybe. *****UPDATE 1/12/17: The brush is most effective if the drill is in reverse, but that is very hard to control. I got better results using the brush to scrub the roof by hand first, then using the drill to go over it lightly to work the rubber conditioner in.In hindsight, a nylon bristle scrub brush would have worked better. I'm not going to detract a start, because the brush IS effective - but the drill application (at least in forward) is not as effective has scrubbing by hand. Definetly recomend it for light to moderate scrubbbing, but if it's heavy scrubbing you need - scrub it by hand first. Read more

The circular brush worked extremely well to remove dark mildew and slime from the 15" X 15" concrete pavers on our patio. The "stiffness" of the bristles is just right for this type of cleaning. We used this brush with "Simple Green" cleaning solution to remove the slime, then applied a thin coat of bleach for the final cleaning and to kill any residual mildew that remained. The bullet shaped brush worked great to clean our ceramic tile grout indoors. The circular brush worked very well to clean the tiles. We used these brushes with "Simple Green" again to clean the tile and the grout. Our grout has not been this clean in recent memory. Suggestion: Recommend that you have a drill with a right-angle handle so that you can use two hands to hold the drill when cleaning. Also, if you are going to clean a large area, a heavy-duty (18 volts or higher) lithium ion battery powered drill with at least two batteries would be very useful. The shaft needs to be longer. It's hard to put the brush onto my cordless drill because there's not enough room to tighten the bit onto the chuck. The round brush works well in a garbage disposal, but the shaft still needs to be longer. The flat brush leave skid marks on my tub if I hit the side of the brush. It's almost impossible not to.
