As many people have noted, there is very LITTLE coverage/color with this tinted moisturizer... because it's a tinted MOISTURIZER with great sunblock that is lightweight and nongreasy, even the dewy which is all I use. When I need more coverage I put a drop of foundation with a pump of this. Works great and blends together. Followed by a loose powder, it stays smooth and not drying all day. I love this matte tinted moisturizer! It goes on smoothly. Matches my skin tone. I did not notice any kind of a smell that previous reviewers have indicated was present. It evens out my skin tones and my face feels so smooth and soft. My face looks almost like I'm wearing makeup but not wearing makeup.I will buy this again.! UPDATE- After a couple of days I did begin to notice a smell when I applied this product. I don't know why it wasn't present when I first used it. It's not overwhelming and it's not truly unpleasant. I have been seeing glowing reviews for this for a few years now, finally decided to try it and I love it! Goes on so smooth and even, blends right into my light skin tone. Doesn’t oxidize, and stays put until you wash it off. I can put it around my eyes with any stinging. It has light coverage, so I don’t need foundation….but if I needed to cover anything, just adding a little concealer would be enough. I was unaware I was buying the matte version, and I think for my normal skin, it’s a little too matte, especially for winter, but would be perfect for someone with oily or combination skin. With the matte, I don’t have to touch up at all with powder. Definitely will buy again, next time the regular (non matte) version. Read more

I recently received this product and have only used it for a few days. My initial impression of the product is it light and I like the consistency. It is sheer, looks natural and enhances my complexion. I think the tint works well with my winter complexion, but I think it will be too light for my summer complexion. My biggest issue with this product is the smell. It took a couple applications before I finally figured it out, but the smell is a very strong zinc oxide smell. I haven’t used it enough to decide whether or not I can overlook the smell yet. I will give it a little more time before I make that decision, but if you sensitive to scents or have a strong aversion to scents, I’m not sure this is the product for you. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I love this stuff! I don’t wear makeup and I’m very picky about what I put on my face. I don’t like anything heavy, sticky or cakey, and this stuff is not any of those things. It’s lightweight, feels good, and I like knowing that the SPF is protecting my skin. It also matches my skin tone perfectly and blends really well. This is my second bottle and I will continue to buy more when I run out. My only complaint is that it’s expensive; I do wish it was a little bit cheaper. Read more

I have light skin with lines, creases, large pores, and lots of texture at age 60. Sun damage left my fair/light skin mottled in color. Rolled the dice on this product after thinking about it for a year. I absolutely LOVE it! It basically evens out my skin tone - to be clear it does not cover everything up like makeup, but it evens out the overall tones and makes my skin look so much better. I don't wear makeup every day, and just wanted to look better on the days I don't wear it. This is perfect for that! I bought the MATTE because I have large pores and my texture is uneven and dewy products emphasize that. Here are some BONUS things I wasn't expecting: 1) my skin feels soft and smooth with this product - that's unusual for me. 2) When I'm just wearing this tinted moisturizer during the day and want to put on foundation at night, I can use much less foundation because my skin is already evened out in tone by wearing the tinted moisturizer. I can even just use foundation strategically. Sometimes I use IT Celebration AntiAging Powder foundation, and sometimes I use Lancome Teint Idole Liquid, but either way on the few days I do choose to wear foundation I use SOOO much less foundation because I'm already wearing the tinted moisturizer. I highly recommend this Drmtlgy Matte Tinted Moisturizer. I was on the fence for a while about trying a social media hyped product, but it does not disappoint! For me, with my skin issues and because I don't wear makeup most of the time, it really makes me look better.
