This gets the smell out of laundry, even stubborn smells! So easy and effective? Read more
I received these laundry odor eraser pods in the 64 pack. The directions were clear and the product works fairly well. The main thing I didn't care for is that rather than just removing odor it definitely adds smell as well which I wasn't expecting. I am sensitive to fragrance and was expecting it to be more about removing odor than adding odor to cover up. When I looked into it the only info I could find was "lightly" scented and in my opinion this left anything I washed with it quite heavily scented. Now if you enjoy fragrance that might be great for you, I just wish it was made more clear or that a fragrance free option was available. Personally I will not be using it to wash my clothes with again as it gave me a headache but it was nice to use on the dog bed that was harder to get the smell out of and since it won't be up near my nose I don't mind the fragrance as much. Overall, it does what it is supposed to do, it dissolved easily, cleaned well, was a great size, and a great value, but just be cautious if you are sensitive to fragrance. Read more
I think these are great laundry additives to control odor. I'm not a stranger to Dropps products, I've probably been using them for the past 3 years so I had high hopes these would also be a good product. I'm happy to report that they are. They are odorless, which I like, and remove odors which I also like! They are simply an addition to your regular laundry detergent so they don't remove stains or do the cleaning themselves, they just help fight odors so I don't use them in every load, I use them for things like the dog beds or rugs, workout clothes and shoes. I do think they do a really great job at fixing that issue.I like that these don't use dyes or harsh chemicals so they feel more environmentally friendly and sensitive skin friendly. They're a pretty good deal if you get them on subscription. Read more
These are highly effective and bring out the scent of our laundry detergent dropps in the laundry. We specifically like them for washing our dog’s reusable diapers, and have noticed a significant difference in the removal of the pee smell. The diapers definitely get cleaner. We’ll probably purchase this product in the future. Read more
We have a faux grass pad on our deck where our dog can go out to pee in the middle of the night. After a few weeks, especially in the sun, the mat gets "ripe" and the odor is off putting. We've tried rinsing it with several types of soap, but nothing has worked. I soaked it with four tablets of DROPPS Odor Eraser Laundry Pod in a tub of water and that did the trick. The odor was gone. The odor was actually gone, not just covered up with some other strong scent like lemon or lavender. I don't like using scents on the mat because then the dog doesn't like using the grass mat. We want her to confine her business to the mat rather than use the entire deck. Now I soak the mat with DROPPS pods every few weeks. What a relief to find something that truly makes the urine odor disappear. With 64 pods, this should last for a year. Thank you, DROPPS. You solved an ongoing problem at our house. Read more
This product did work to (mostly) remove some lingering stubborn odors from 100% polyester fabrics. I wonder if allowing the laundry to soak for a while during the cycle might improve the results further, but in any case it certainly worked a whole lot better than just using basic Oxi-Clean. The pods are small - about one inch square - and are easy to use. They dissolve fully, as well. My biggest concern with the product is that, though it was shown as "Scent: Unscented", it is VERY much a scented product (see also photo of ingredients list on the box). Even after an extra rinse cycle, the fairly strong fragrance remained. That was disappointing because I had hoped to use this product when washing synthetic fabrics that we use when backpacking in the wilderness for days on end. The added fragrance is a drawback out on the trail where the odor might attract wildlife. Not only so, but many people (including me) use "free and clear" laundry detergents because of skin sensitivity issues. Having a laundry booster add odors isn't ideal - people should be able to choose their laundry fragrance (or lack thereof) via their detergent; laundry additives shouldn't add more odors, especially when the product is specifically designed to erase odors! Overall - yes this product works, and for that, thank you Dropps for developing it; however, it isn't as useful to me as I had hoped it would be. Read more

Despite the title clearly stating that this is an additive, I was under the impression it was detergent. It is only to help with heavy odors in laundry. It seems to work ok, I guess. The laundry don't smell bad, but I can't tell that they smell any better either. The pods are very small. I use Dropps dish detergent, which is great, but these pods are so small in our large loads, I could probably use two....or three. Easier still is just to use a scoop of OxyClean. Still, I like this brand of dishwasher detergent, and although it says it has fragrance, it's very light (almost unnoticeable), which I like. If you have a giant wash tub like we do, you could easily get away with using two of these, I think. The current price works out to about .57 per pod. I think that's expensive for the size of the pod, personally. Maybe I'd feel differently if I could tell a difference in the clothes, but I'm not sure I can. Read more
