Highly recommend this floss. I am one of those people who was highly disappointed when the Listerine woven floss was discontinued. I have been searching for a long time to find a comparable product. I tried the CoCo floss and still disappointed. Also, I do not like plastic and/or wax floss. DrTung's Smart floss works very well any new favorite! I love that is expands and is not waxed. It cleans extremely well. After the first time I used it, I could not believe how clean my teeth felt. I was somewhat hesitate to try this one because of the comments about the taste. However, I love it. It's not as good as the minty fresh taste from the old Listerine but it's very refreshing like a clean essential oil. It did not disappoint. Excellent floss. It is soft enough so that it does not irritate your gums although it is very effective at disrupting biofilm and plaque from the interproximal areas (between your teeth). And it doesn't dig into your finger tips and cut your skin as you direct the floss around your mouth. This is a consideration as some nylon thin floss can actually cut into the skin of your finger tips. Overall, highly recommend this brand. Both the mint and cardamom are good flavors. This is completely free of chemicals, according to the manufacturer. The brand is sold in most health food stores and has an excellent reputation. One caveat: if you have very tight embrasures you may not be able to use this floss effectively. If that is the case, try POH floss. Read more

This floss is wonderful stuff. I don't like the big brands floss - they are very plastic, and don't seem to remove plaque. Hate the Glide stuff. I really really don't want to rub PFAS, etc. into my gums. Dr Tung's really is comfortable and I think it's removing plaque much better than any I've used before. I wish it wasn't so expensive (had to take off a star) but I like it so much I guess I'm going to have to buy it again... unless I can find another brand that works as well. Read more

I was reluctant to buy this due to price, but my dentist recommended it. I’m glad I purchased it. The floss is thick and very strong. I think it’s the strongest floss I’ve ever used. I had been using a better known and easily available brand. Those floss strands were thin and would often break. Going forward, I will be using DrTung’s floss. Read more

GREAT floss... would easily get 5 stars, except when we first purchased it came in a circular plastic disc that closed firmly and kept the floss as well as cutting the floss... ever since the paper packaging that has taken over is... disappointing. does not last through the spool. i an skeptical refill discs could not have been created that could be dropped into an existing plastic holder, or that Dr. Tung is saving anything significant over the plastic holders.... so we will keep buying, and keep being disappointed by the new NOT improved holder Read more
