I cut both my son and husband's hair. This was so far, a great value for the money. The noise level isn't bad, and it has a great speed that cuts clean. Cord free is nice. It’s a decent set to get the job done. However, unless you know how to blend, the guards will be an issue. From skin to 1mm, even without a guard and with the clipper edge at closest setting, it still can not blend 0-1mm. With the guards, it’s a rough line between 2-4mm and I found it faster using a comb and a 1mm to blend between 2-4mm lines. The metal bottom of the blades are too rounded, to prevent cutting, that it actually adds a small distance away from the cutting area. You’ll need to make sure it’s fully charged before each use, after several days of being fully charged, it will quickly lose its charge overtime in storage in between uses. On the plus side, it does what you pay for when comparing to a professional barber visit when comparing how it fades/blends. Read more
