I'll normally buy my batteries in bulk. You get a much better price and well, Duracell are top quality. Other Alkaline batteries have a tendency to leak. I've had that problem with the Energizer batteries. I'm not saying that the Duracell batteries never leak and corrode all of the contacts in whatever you're using them for. If you put batteries in a flashlight and toss it in the closet then go to use it five years later the chances of the batteries leaking normally happens with just about all batteries. I use Duracell batteries especially in my hurricane lanterns because of where I live. Also Duracell shelf life is a tremendous advantage. They hold their charge until you use them. I had some batteries that I needed to use and they were a year past their shelf life date. The batteries were still fine and hadn't lost any power. I've always trusted Duracell especially in microphones when doing live television. I believe they last longer than other brand batteries. Go for the Copper Top! The new ones I haven't tried out are the "Quantum" series that they've introduced. Can't view my opinion on those yet. Read more
