As some reviewers have noted, hospitals & professional musicians/bands use these in their equipment for the reliability and longevity factors. Being one of these said ‘pros’, I can attest to the fact that these are indeed the best. Any impartial review of consumer batteries will also likely say same. It’s usually the ProCell, the Duracell CopperTop, and Energizer, in that order at the top of the list of consumer-grade alkaline batteries. For example, 5 months ago at home, we bought 6 of the Ring LED ‘path lights’ that you stick into the ground outside to light up your front sidewalk for whatever reason. (They’re like the cheap solar yard lights you see everywhere, but the Ring path lights are wireless & they work with your Ring alarm/doorbell video network). In any case, these aren’t solar, so each LED path light takes 4 D-sized batteries. I only had 16 Pro Cells on hand, so I needed 8 more to complete the project and get back to laying on the couch watching TV. Since the ProCells cannot be purchased at a store, and I didn’t have time to wait for Amazon, I ran to the corner grocery to buy the other 8. I bought the Energizer because they were the cheapest at this particular place. I’m writing this article now to brag on the ProCells because the 2 path lights that got the Energizers both died & went offline within a day of each other... a month ago. The other 4 lights with the ProCells in them are still going strong. That’s at least a month longer than the Energizers lasted, and all 8 lights always turn on and off together as a group, so they’re all used exactly the same amount. Lastly, I caution against putting in a lot of faith in the reviews of these batteries from 2015-16. There were a lot of problems with ALL domestically-produced alkaline batteries (the D-size ProCells are made in the USA) in 2014-15, due to all U.S. battery suppliers’ receiving several “tainted” batches of raw materials from (guess where) China. All the ProCells I’ve used since 2016 have been fantastic, and as of this review (11/13/19), I noticed the more recent reviews seem to describe the ProCells that my profession has trusted for decades. You can’t buy these in a store for a reason... consider yourself lucky you can buy them here and stock up! They’ll still be good & fresh 5-10 years from now. Read more

Product was a good price, was delivered quickly as scheduled, and the batteries are working fine. Too soon to rate longevity, so I could only give them a 4 rating. Read more
In the tub area of the bathroom, a door can be closed to keep moisture from going into the other part of the bathroom. The code rules out the use of electrical items, that being a risk of a shock. I use the battery's for a camp lamp, that delivers, what a plug in night light provided. At 84 Y. O., mom needs little more light into that area. I keep track of its use, and these Duracell Batteries last over a month. Read more
Yea yea.. I know what people are going to say. They are the same as regular Duracell's.. That would be wrong.. I have had a lot of Duracell branded batteries over the years, and one thing that I have seen over the past few years.. The regular Duracell ones, I have seen a lot of them start to corrode. I bought a brand new Maglite flashlight as a present, put the batteries in the flashlight, and then when I gave it as a present a month later, it did not work.. Took the batteries out and found that they had corroded in that month.. I have run into that a lot with regular Duracell batteries.. The Procell version, for some reason, I have not had any of those corrode. I have used them in AA, AAA, and D size of both.. and none of them on any size of the Procell version have corroded.. The run time seems about the same for both too. So if you need batteries, get the Procell version vs the regular Duracell version. Not sure what the difference is, but that is my results over the past few years. Read more
Started with these as was sick and tired of leaky batteries from other brands. These are from the Duracell family and have never had that happen with them - ever. As no company now offers leak free warranty anymore that made my decision easier. Yes, these cost a bit more but not that much, and never leak, and are legendary (Duracell) for their long lasting strength, so permanent change for me, no looking back. Read more
