Elf Expert Liquid Liner has been my go to eyeliner for the past 15+ years! It is easy to use, stays fresh, and creates highly-pigmented precision definition. Although I've noticed the pricing go up over the years (as with everything else), it is still relatively overall affordable. It doesn't smudge, is not irritating to my sensitive skin, and is versatile depending on how thick you want to apply it. Great for clear definition of your eyes that lasts all day! It’s a good eyeliner if you are looking for affordable however it’s not the best color payoff. It has great payoff if you are looking for amount of eyeliner which it holds. Dries quickly enough but not lightning fast. Pretty smooth glide and lasts long on outer eyes (not so much near inner corner). Read more

The quality and color is good for the wonderfully low price, but I do find that it fades through the day if I’m not careful to make the full line even and thick. If I do, it lasts the full day and potentially into the evening without fading, for the most part. I give a lower rating because this eyeliner causes irritation for me like no other product has. It’s rare that a product bothers my eyes, but this one definitely caused redness and irritation for me. Even Lumify and allergy eye drops didn’t help me out on this one, though it’s not like I’m out much money, on the bright side.
