Before using it, we thought it might be uncomfortable or painful, but according to his experience, it is not painful at all and works gently while still being effective. The trimmer is lightweight, easy to handle, and very simple to use. It provides good results and performs its intended function well. My husband is happy with how it works and the overall performance of the product. The reason for giving it four stars instead of five is that the trimmer does not include a battery. It requires one AA battery, which is easy to find and simple to install, but for the price, it would have been nice if the battery had been included. I am getting older, and that means I am losing hair where I don't want to - and growing it where I don't want to! I have been increasingly frustrated with my nose hair. I know no one else notices, but I do, and it drives me nuts. I wanted something painless because, well, ouch - and this fits the bill. Absolutely zero pain on use and it works great. I was terrified that it was going to be painful but there is literally no pain whatsoever with these. Ladies (or gents) - we all have nose hair. We don't all need to see each others nose hair, though! Not bad, i bought it for my husband because he grows nose hairs that sometimes get into his mustache and i dont like being responsible for trimming them. It is easy to use and no assembly required or anything, but it did miss a couple hairs initially so he had to go back and get them, it also seemed to take a little more depth than what the instructions said. It takes one AA battery which we didn't have but that was on us. Overall it is pretty great for how much it cost, it just needs a extra work and time to really get all the desired hair. Read more
