I ordered this for my dog, a Tibetan Terrier mix who gets recurring yeast infections in his ears. I have to rinse his ears out and clean them every couple of weeks, and this looked like a good blend of natural ingredients to do so. He tolerates this well, it doesn't irritate his ears at all, and seems to do a good job of rinsing out his ears. I like the long, soft tip to get the liquid down into his ears: he has hair inside his ears, so it's hard to get the liquid in there without an elongated tip like this. This also came with a few cotton swabs, that we use to clean out the residue and clean up his ears. I didn't think I needed these, but they come in a little plastic zipper bag that I've reused, refilling it and keeping it in my grooming basket. This has turned out to be just a nice, gentle ear cleaner for our dog, and a great way to keep tabs on his ear health. Read more

One of my fur-babies has continuous ear problems. She scratches and seems irritated most of the time. When I say I have tried everything, I really have, so trying this new item made perfect sense. I would say that it works better than most of the things I have tried. It is not harsh and seems to clean her ears very well. I use it daily and it doesn't seem to bother her for daily use. I have noticed less scratching than before (but sadly not completely eliminated). It is much more cost effective that some of the other things I have been using, and at least with my child seems effective. There is nothing in the ingredients that I am worried about, so I will keep using it. By my dog this would be highly recommended. Read more

I've used this ear cleaner a few times now on my beagle who has chronic ear infections, and it did seem to work pretty well at clearing out the gunk. It has almost no smell, which is good and bad (I like a little scent to freshen his stinky ears). If you have smell sensitivities, you should be ok with this cleaner. The tip is a little funny- super flexible & long, which is good if you need to bend it slightly on a squirming dog, but difficult to get the little tip cover back on with any surety. I don't put the tip in my dog's ear canal for hygienic reasons & to keep from hurting him. I actually try to avoid touching his ear with any cleaner implement, if I can help it- otherwise, I'm sterilizing it with alcohol after each use to keep from spreading the infection. Overall, the ingredients in the cleaner are simple and seem effective, so I will keep using this, along with my arsenal of other ear products I have for my boy! Read more

My Dalmatians get occasional ear infections because they spend a lot of time swimming in my pool and they don't completely clear out water that gets in their ears. I squeeze some of these drops in each ear and that encourages the dogs to shake their heads and expel anything that is in their ears, thereby cleaning them out.
