I drive haul trucks at a mine and it can be loud. The daily use ear buds hurt my ears. I wear earbuds in my ears for 11 hours every time I work so I wanted something that I could keep reusing and that was comfortable. I purchased 3 brand to try and this was the 1st one I opened. These have worked out so well that I haven't opened the other 2 yet. I've been using these for over 3 months now about 4 times a week The shape of the silicone ear piece has held up its shape. I like that I have options to choose a larger of smaller silicone piece and that the carrying case is easy to access and put my earbuds away. These are adequate for gentle hearing reduction or abatement. I would not use these for high noise impact around me. Heavy motorcycle motors diesel motors airplane motors stuff like that maybe a little underplayed. Speaking of motorcycles if you're going for a motorcycle ride this may be of help but it would be of help with inside a motorcycle helmet or bicycle ear covers. Any ear protection is decent protection but if you want really good protection you may want to consider a step up to another product that that works as well. I still use mine and once they wear out I will look at another product and this would be a 3 and 1/2 star default product and remember you have two good reasons on either side of your head to take care of your ears and so you want good ear protection and by the way you have two good reasons on the front of your face to take care of your eyes so make sure you wear a good eye protection as well. It's never worth the risk to not get good coverage You're hearing is so mattersome and your eyes are so mattersome. Give him a whirl, you don't like him clean them up and send them back. First of all, how absolutely perfect is the is packaging?!!! I definitely feel like I’ve purchased a top of the line product with careful packaging. I love the attached card that explains how to use the ear plugs and then how to contact them if there’s an issue. I tried them on immediately out of the package. They’re very comfortable. I like maximum noise reduction so I out the largest tips on. My ear canals seem to be larger than most. They didn’t slip out while sitting. I haven’t tried them with sleeping so after tonight I will come and update. But, I have super high hopes for these! First night update: They fit comfortably in my ears and it doesn’t hurt when I sleep on my side. It’s almost as if they aren’t even there. Every night is different with my husband snoring so it’s gonna take me a few more nights to ascertain whether these work 100% for my needs. However, last night, I didn’t have a problem going to sleep or staying asleep with them in and I did not hear my husband snore. I did hear other noises so I’m really not confident that it blocks out a full 45 dB. My others block out about 30 dB And they seem to work a little bit better but I’m going to keep using them and seeing how they work. Even if they aren’t 100% what I need they are still great for travel because of the nice case and for concerts. They will easily slip into my pocket But they also have a loop on them so I can hang them on a chain around my neck or I can put them on a keychain. For the value, this was an excellent purchase. These little earbuds block out a surprising amount of ambient noise. I compared them to my Loop quiets and these blew them away with noise cancelling. The earbuds are super comfy to wear for long periods of time and stay in pretty well (75% of the time) while sleeping. I like the variety of earbud sizes, though they should not have been included in the case. With the extra earbuds, the travel case is much too large to be conveniently carried in a pocket or purse. This is one area Loop does better as their cases are very small. One point- this set is NOT worth the $100 price tag. I got it on sale for around $20, though I would say they're worth around $35. As others have noted these are not noise canceling they are just passive earplugs. They fit okay and filter out enough sound to make loud music at a club dampened but that’s it. They’re worth the $17 I paid for them but not anything more. Read more

Really REALLY worked to block out husband's snoring. Discovered that the smallest earpiece worked for me. I would consider my ears to be a normal size. With a little twisting, I could tell when I had them in my ears just right because all sounds were GONE. I'm a side sleeper and I did have a little discomfort in that ear but it's rather have that than hearing my husband's FREIGHT TRAIN off a snore. Highly recommend! Read more
