Ok so this flat worked for me. I was blocked and ready to go to ent. Even used a small WiFi cam for viewing and cleaning before so I could see the blockage. Anyway, a bottle of 1/2 water 1/2 peroxide and I flushed it out. Amazing and much better than a ball or plunger syringe imo. This has plenty of power. Don’t be afraid to angle it around and get all the spots. Anyway, I’d make sure I’m seated next time! As you know our inner ear is connected to our balance. After using this I actually felt dizzy and lightheaded for a cpl minutes. I could easily see someone falling if they’re not prepared for this. Went away quickly for me but man I was dizzy for a few. I have always had a lot of wax build up and have tried many manual earwax cleaning systems. Most recently I have been using a syringe ear wash system, but never felt like it was getting all the wax out. I would have to use it many days in a row to see or hear any results. My husband saw a similar system on TV and thought maybe it would help. Of course I always research many items before I try. This product seamed like it would work the best for my needs. It was great! The fact that it is rechargeable is fantastic. I put a few drops of a wax softener in the night before I use it and then flush in the shower the next day. Using it in the shower is much easier than trying to use the container to catch the fluid. All the settings were gentle enough that they didn’t hurt. I use it once a month to keep my ears clean and couldn’t be happier and my hearing is better. I used to have to clear patient’s ears when I worked in the emergency room. I have always struggled with itchy wax filled ears. I was a little nervous about this product and how it would work without making a mess. It was easy to put together and then it was easy to operate. You have to be sure that you hold the drain carefully under your ear. The high setting was a little uncomfortable but highly effective at breaking up wax. The first use it took 2 times to fill the water to get both ears clean. My ears have finally stopped feeling itchy as well as my hearing has improved. I'm very happy with this product and recommend it for anyone that is struggling with their ears. Read more
I made the mistake of trying to clean my ears with a q-tip and ended up with a large plug in my right ear which limited my hearing significantly. Bought one of these and with the high pressure setting it took 30 seconds to blow that plug out. I agree with other posters that the only setting that really works is the high pressure one, the lesser pressure options did not do much (except maybe softening the plug a little). I did use Debrox ear drops twice before using it which likely helped. Pretty much a Water Pic for your ears and I was able to do it myself without assistance. Read more
Buy this one and save some money. I always wondered how clogged my ears were after seeing some gross videos. I’m here to say they weren’t bad. But I’m glad they are clean and it’s nice to not have ear wax for weeks. Very nice product. Works well. Read more
This electric ear cleaner is easy to use, and the instructions are straightforward. Functionally, it does a good job of flushing water in and drawing it back out into the separate reservoir. The water tank holds a good amount of (distilled recommended) water and the cup is large enough to full cover even a larger ear. I like that it offers three power settings—high isn’t overly strong, which feels safe for the eardrum. The nozzles are comfortable enough as well and do not go in too far. For someone like me who naturally gets a lot of wax buildup, this has been a really useful tool. It pairs well with my regular use of an OTC ear cleanser and definitely works better than the traditional manual rubber squeeze bulbs. Read more
This machine is fantastic and so easy to use. Make sure you gently move it around to clear everything out. It reminds me of the one the doctor used. Very gentle on your ears but thorough. Start as they suggest with the regular setting and move up or down to see what works best. This was a great find. Read more
