If you are buying for yourself, you may find similar quality for less but (1) I found no other with six prongs and (2) too many say “silver” not sterling silver. If you are buying a gift, then the packaging makes this an excellent choice, from the exterior box to its cubby that holds the jewelry box. The 1-carat earring is the perfect size for most ears.
