i don't know furniture but to my eyes, this looks amazing. it's solid wood, no evidence of laminates or anything like that and it's HEAVY wood... that box must've been murder to deliver to my doorstep. and it was packed really really well so my personal experience is that it was delivered in flawless condition with no dings or scrapes at all and all corners were reinforced with thick styrofoam blocks. ASSEMBLY: - you just need to attach the four legs with two threaded bolts that you can spin in 90% of the way in with just your fingers. the last bit of tensioning can be done with the included alan wrench. - easily one man/woman job. i'm always wary of furniture assembly because sometimes, it's designed to be put together with help and doing it solo is murder but this is easy. hardest part is taking the box out to the trash actually.... - i took about an hour but that's including unpacking everything from it's well taped up protective foam and then ditching the box. "BUTTERFLY FOLD OUT": before purchase i really wondered what the hell that was... basically, the middle section that allows you to extend the table to be wider is built into the table and attached by an axle... after you pull the table top apart to reveal the extra space, you grab and unfold it and it smoothly unfolds into the space. then you push the ends which have pegs and fit it all together and lock it with the snap locks underneath and you're done. really love the fact that the center piece is built into the table and not something that i have to remove and store somewhere else. NOTE - if you open the box correctly you will see the bottom of the table with the table top facing the bottom of the box on the floor. you will see this butterfly fold out section in the middle covered with foam and your immediate instinct will be to try to pull it free. you can try to do that for a few minutes but as i mentioned it is securely attached to an axle. this is NOT MADE TO BE REMOVED. so ignore it. ignore the foam covering it. read the instructions and attach the legs. you will be able to remove the foam and fiddle with the butterfly middle section AFTER the table is assembled and upright and the two ends pulled apart to reveal the space. INSTRUCTIONS: in the ikea style that i'm familiar with. mostly diagrams. but it's so simple that it few pages are all you need and just looking over it for a minute will tell you everything you need to know. SIZE: even without the middle extension, it can seat 4 people imo. it won't be spacious and you can't have a lot of dishes in the middle... so not ideal for something like thanksgiving dinner. but for 4 people with a plate and cup, it'll work just fine. but without the extension, it's also really nice for just one or two people too... then it's nice and spacious without taking up too much floor space. these are just a little bit wider and more rectangular than the square tables at my starbucks. for my purposes, it's more than perfect. anyway, really pleased with the table! i feel like a got a great deal and it looks great in the dining area. Purchased the table, two chairs, and a bench for our newly remodeled kitchen. Assembly was easy and the directions straightforward. The table and chairs are very sturdy and clean very easily. Very happy with the option to expand the table when the whole family comes over and when we want to have more room we can fold the expansion panel under the table and out of the way. Read more

We ordered 4 chairs and a table! My husband said they were very good quality, very solid all the fitments were perfect, all the screws were there and perfect and even put the lock washers on the screws, there was even lock tight on the end of the screws and caps on the ends of the legs...the pads on the chairs were beautiful and thick, and very sturdy and comfortable to sit on! I ordered this to fit in a slide out dining area in a 5th Wheel travel trailer. It fits perfectly in the space, is very stable and sturdy and the color/paint are very attractive and nicely done. I would have given it 5 Stars but one of the legs had a problem with where the bolt screwed in. The hole/threads wouldn't receive the bolt due to either paint clogging it up, or it being improperly drilled, not sure which. I wrote to the company and they responded very quickly but said they were going to offer me a partial refund which wouldn't fix the problem. I then got a link to write a review which I did saying the partial refund was at least something, but now I would have to figure a workaround to attach the leg securely or figure a way to send the whole table back which I did NOT want to do. I never got the partial refund, but a few days later, I got a phone call AND an email saying they were sending a replacement leg for the table. Overall, even though there was an issue with attaching one of the table legs, the customer support and communication have been excellent in trying to remedy the situation. I haven't received the replacement leg yet, but have an email saying they will be sending tracking information in the next day or two. Since they have been truthfully communicative about the problem didn't blow me off or ignore me, I am hopeful! As I said, the table is attractive, sturdy and the butterfly leaf looks and works great. This table is so nice! It came packaged very well, no scratches or dents on the table, but the box was kinda banged up and very dirty. The delivery driver left it right in front of my apt door. Caution though, this table is quite heavy. I’m female, 5’6 in my 30’s and I had to use quite some muscle to move it from the door to my dining room. I ended up using furniture dolly and it made moving the package so much easier. This is a sturdy and well made table. I got it in pine and it looks stunning in my living room. Love the butterfly option and it’s easy to assemble. Great table to accommodate family abs friend during the holidays. According to the sticker on the bottom, it’s made in Vietnam. Order this table for small assisted living apartment for my mother. Great made table! Arrived in packaging that protected the table. Was easy to assemble. Once assembled it is just as described. Nice color, finish, and very sturdy. I would recommend purchasing this table for use in smaller areas with it's compact size and the ability to be a bit larger with the nice butterfly leaf. Read more
