This controller is a little tricky for me to setup and get working. I have to make sure that Bluetooth recognizes it as Xbox controller. Just keep removing the generic ones if they come up until it connects as Xbox. It has a combination of inputs that put it in pairing mode (I think mine was power on, hold - power button, X,Y it should flash faster. Once it’s setup, it works perfectly! Works great wirelessly and wired. When I game for a little bits at a time the dock charger is more than adequate to keep it fully charged, but when I game for like a weekend night I just plug the cord in to keep it charging. The turbo functions work great for tedious button press things in games, and you can toggle it on the fly so it doesn't have to be on constantly. This controller is awesome! I am a PC gamer who normally plays using mouse and keyboard. There are certain games I like to play only with controller, and my old switch pro controller wasn’t cutting it. I had to constantly reconnect the Bluetooth to my pc and was basically forced to play wired. With this new controller, the dock has a slot for the receiver, so it is always charging and always connected to the PC. All you need to do is pick it up and press the middle button to wake. The biggest compliment is the grippy texture on the back and the comfort of the joysticks and triggers. The controller has a very premium feel and is not clunky. The lighting is awesome. I like how there are 2 buttons you can program on the back of the controller. This can be used on a variety of consoles as well if I ever want. This product exceeded my expectations for the price. So far the controller is working great. I sit about 12 feet from my tv / pc and have yet to encounter connection disruption or noticeable latency. I like the overall feel of the controller, buttons are responsive, sticks have good amount of tension and dead zone. The one thing I don’t like is how recessed the USB C port is. It prevents me from using almost any of my other existing USB C cables to recharge the controller (which can be annoying if you travel and forget to bring the right cable with you). Now I’m just hoping this controller lasts more than a year. This is my 2nd EasySMX controller. First was an x10 which I loved for the first few months. At around 5 months it started having wireless connection problems. Then around 10 months the A button’s mechanical switch started to wear (no longer clicking) and eventually stopped registering A button presses all together. In general, these are great budget controllers which I cautiously recommend. Take a look at reviews of other EasySMX controllers (this controller was flooded with vine reviewers who received product for free) and just be aware that you may be rolling the dice a bit with regard to their long term durability. I used this wireless controller with my Windows 11 PC via Steam. Overall, it has a good feel in the hands and performs well when it connects properly. The included night stand/charging dock is a nice touch. However, I ran into consistent issues connecting via Bluetooth. Sometimes it wouldn’t pair at all, or would randomly disconnect mid-game, which was frustrating. On top of that, the battery life was pretty low compared to other controllers I’ve used. Ultimately, I decided to return it because the connection issues made it unreliable for gaming. It’s a good controller in theory, but the glitchy Bluetooth and weak battery were deal-breakers for me. This thing is awesome. No cord, no mess. It feels really good in your hands, super responsive, and the light settings are a nice touch. I’ve had zero issues with connection or lag. This controller is better than expected. Easy to connect with dongle, good feel on the hands, controls are snappy and feel good, and the charging base is a plus for storing and keeping it out of the way and charged up for game play. For the price this is a steal of a deal and worth every penny. Will be buying more for future builds. Read more
