For the price and what it does, the controller is pretty awesome. It has very accurate linear motors to what's even in the joy-con 2s. It also has nice sticks that, iirc, are hall-effect, so no drift at least in the near future. The buttons are nice and click, and feel great to press. One of the few draw backs is swapping between the official pro 2 controller and this makes it show it's price and quality. Again, still really good for what it is. The other is kind of the d-pad. Minor gripe, but it does feel slightly weird compared to other controllers I've tried out due to the clickiness of the d-pad. Also, less of a gripe, and more of a quirk that I found interesting was setting up the wake from sleep. Having to remove the joy-con, connecting the controller, and then going from then on was interesting to say the least. If I could give it a 4.5 star, it'd get that, but removing those minor gripes would put it at a 5 for me. Read more

I’m not being dramatic when I say, I think this is the nicest controller I have ever used in my 30 years of gaming. Very impressive. The joysticks alone blew me away. They feel so precise and smooth and there’s like zero dead zone. I use this on my switch 2 and my Steam Deck and my PC rig. Works like a charm. Love the very subtle clickiness of all the buttons. They’re like macro keys that you would find in a gaming mouse but in a controller. Read more

Nice grip, feels sturdy. Firmware update had it work flawlessly with Switch 2, even wakes from sleep as advertised. Great deal imo. Read more

Nice controller, I like the feeling. There's like a split second delay compared to the switch 2 Pro Controller. Vary nice clicking but at night kinda could get loud depending the game that you're playing. I really do the turbo feature and the RGB. Read more

As someone who refuses to pay ridiculous prices for first party controllers, this controller is the best option for just about everyone. It has everything anyone would need in a switch 2 pro controller. Comfortable, stable, and cheap. Hits the trifecta. Love that it wakes the switch up. I also love that it doesn't drop connection like my game sir supernova does. Highly recommend this one. Read more

Great controller! Sticks feel great, I like mechanical "clicky" buttons and triggers, it feels sturdy, has NFC in case you care about Amiibo, rumble feels pretty nuanced and the coup de grace - Switch 2 wake-up is reliable and easy to set up. Only downside is the back buttons not being recognized as such by the Switch 2, though they are configurable right on the controller. All said, it's a great sub for the Pro 2 controller for less money. Read more

I really wanted to love this controller. It's very well-made, feels great in the hand, sticks and all buttons feel fantastic. It connected to my Switch 2 right away and the Switch 2 recognized it as a Pro Controller. Great start! Then I loaded up DK Bananza. Everything was...ok...but off a bit. I wondered if there was some response delay in the buttons. JUST perceivable enough that it seemed like it was throwing me off. So I connected the 1st party Joycons and went back and forth between those and this controller, timing as best I could how quickly DK would jump on the screen. Sure enough, something was just a liiiiitttle bit off. The Joycons were nearly immediate, but the EasySMS was a split split of a second behind. This was a problem for me...maybe not for everyone, and not for all games, but it was enough to hurt my experience in Bananza. Maybe if I hadn't started with the Joycons and already played so much of it with them, I wouldn't have noticed. But I did. Then there's the HD Rumble. It's there, yes, but it should be noted that this controller's rumble is apparently based on the v1 from the original Switch and not the newest HD Rumble on the Switch 2. I'll find out soon what that means for the OG Pro Controller when I get it from my kids, but for this controller, it apparently means that, at least in DK Bananza, the thing buzzes and vibrates almost constantly. Just stepping slowly makes it rumble. I wondered if I was crazy and again went back to the Joycons. Sure enough---the Joycons were not only more mild and a bit more nuanced, but did not vibrate just by simply walking/running around. Still wanting to give the controller a chance, I followed the instructions to turn off rumble in the instructions (M button + up/down on the left stick), and simply could not get them to work. Couldn't turn it up, down, or off. Nothing. Sigh. Side note---I also couldn't get it to wake up the Switch 2. This controller is really nice. It has features many third party controllers don't have. The HD Rumble is absolutely better than normal rumble on most controllers, but it's still off, at least when it comes to Switch 2 games. The button switches FEEEL marvelous, but the slightly perceptible delay I noticed when compared with the Joycons just hurt the experience for me too much to be able to enjoy it. Solid effort, but just not good enough. Read more

I picked up this controller because I needed something that had everything for my Switch 2 NFC, wireless, rumble, and gyro. I’ve seen plenty of compatible controllers out there, but most were missing either the gyro or the NFC. After searching on Amazon, I found this one, and it actually has more features than I expected. It works perfectly on both my Switch 2 and my PC, which is a huge bonus. For the price, it’s absolutely worth it, and I highly recommend it. I played with it from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. while playing Zelda, and it was great the whole time. I even forgot it has customizable RGB lighting, plus a back paddle. The interchangeable faceplate is a cute extra, though not really necessary because the controller already looks and feels amazing. I have medium-sized hands, and the grip and button layout are perfect for me. Overall, I really love this controller. Definitely check it out! Read more
