Having a 2 speed transmission makes this RC two vehicles in one....!!! A Micro-Crawler and Trail-Truck all in one vehicle. I had some small issues with the driveshafts and the FMS customer service responded to my issues quickly. They sent me replacement parts and the upgraded metal portal gears within a few days at no charge, excellent customer service! This car is so much fun both indoors and out. It also ooks like the aftermarket parts companies have taken notice of this car so upgrading and customizing is easy and affordable. Not too bad. The remote is a little small. Easy to hit reverse. Wish the battery used the same connection as the scx24. I'm thinking the people that buy this are maybe also into the Axials. They are better overall quality for sure. Truck not bad. Needs some weight down low badly. Hoping for after-market parts to show up soon. Some scx24 parts are supposed to fit, but not sure which ones. Info on that is sparse. Also missing a couple of parts. Here's the seller review. Maybe they will send the missing so, so small screws & metal gears. Arrived on time. Missing a couple of ultra small screws to assemble the roll bar. Also didn't get the 'free gift' others have said was in the package. Was also hoping seller would include the metal replacement gears for when the plastic ones go bad. Read more

The “high speed” settings is comically fast for a 1/24 scale. I bought it for a change from axial, and I’m pretty impressed. It crawls well, turns well, and is ready to go out of the gate. The rear rack is a bit flimsy, and the transmitter looks and feels like it belongs to a $20 RC. But the vehicle itself didn’t appear to suffer from cost cutting- first impressions are good. The packaging is great, and I’m pleased with the product for the price. The servo is amazing. It really is. The slow speed crawl control is really good, and the tires have a lot of grip. Right out of the box, this thing is exactly as good as my modded axials. Well see how durable it turns out to be, but so far I’m very impressed. Read more

I don't have an SCX24 to compare to but am really enjoying the FCX24 as my first crawler. The drive axels are a weak point, mine broke pretty quickly at the ball joint. I messaged the seller (Eazyrc) and got replacement axels sent to me for free. The replacement axels are a lot thicker and should hold up better. Read more

Super cheaply built not worth the price … almost impossible to attach/detach the body They way the battery is place sucks to .. it’s held by a rubber band ! After a few uses the rig would not go to reverse … I would honestly say it’s A 50 dollar toy … don’t listen to them wack ass reviews from YouTube because they all got sent the item for free to help market … this truck is lame and cheap .. their are others for that price or around .
