Eco-Friendly Portable Laundry Detergent Sheets - 3-in-1 Travel Laundry Strips for Gym Camping Backpacking - Plant-Based Zero-Waste Dissolves

Got these laundry detergent sheets to take with me on a vacation so I can wash my clothes in a sink. Some quick observations… there are quite a few of them in the package, you get a lot and each sheet is perforated down the middle so you can get two loads per sheet. To use them all you do is fill the sink up with water or whatever container you’re gonna use, (I use just barely warm water for most of my clothes), toss in the laundry sheet and it dissolves in the water in about 20 seconds and it makes quite a bit of bubbles. I just put my clothes in and kinda squish and squeeze and twist it to get it all nice and saturated and agitated. Then I drained all the water out, filled the sink back up with water again so I can rinse it all off, then wrung out my clothes and hung it up to dry. After it dried the clothes were nice and soft, there was no visible residue at all, and also this doesn’t seem to have any scent whatsoever, which is a bonus for me. I got this to use while traveling. I prefer to travel light and do laundry during the trip and these are small and light weight enough to allow that while also not taking up much space in the luggage. When washing clothes in the bathroom sink, I'll use one-third to one-half of a sheet, depending on how many items I'm washing, so they go a long way. Pros: Scent - these leave your clothes smelling clean and fresh without being overly scented They do a good job of cleaning fabrics They're safe to use on all types of fabric. I've used them for Merino wool, cotton, and synthetic fabrics and had good results with all. As mentioned, they're light and compact Each sheet is perforated, which easily allows you to tear it in half They're thin and light enough to cut into smaller sizes, like I do so that I can use even less than half a sheet per wash Cons: This is not specific to this particular product, but to all soap sheets - you must be careful to handle them with your hands dry or they start to dissolve in your hands and make your hands soapy/slippery. The product packaging is incorrect and/or misleading. It states that the package contains 32 sheets, which is enough for 64 loads. However, the package I received only contains 16 sheets. I have been trying to transition to laundry sheets to get away from lugging big bottles of soap. These sheets come perforated to use 1/2 a sheet for small loads and a full sheet for larger loads. They do feel a bit thicker than some other sheets I have tried and got my clothes clean. They came out smelling fresh and without any odors/perfumes. I like that these are plant based strips and are eco-friendly. For 64 loads of laundry, this is a good deal. Read more

These detergent sheets are thicker and less easy to tear than others that I've used. I think they have more soap concentrated into them than the usual, which is good. I had a large load of towels, and following the instructions, I used two sheets (one sheet with the perforation down the middle). There were some suds left at the end of the cycle, so I could have used less - I'll adjust next time. Everything came out nice and clean, so I think they worked well. The scent is nice and light. I really like these kind of sheets because they're great for travel, take up very little space and are a good value. They're very easy to use once you figure out the right amount. We started using laundry sheets a few years ago. No more lugging big bottles of detergent from the store, then tossing them into the trash when they're used up. Laundry sheets take up minimal space, and the packaging is recyclable. They're also easier to transport to use on trips. We've liked these Eco-Friendly Portable Laundry Detergent Sheets. The scent is overwhelming out of the package, and they don't smell AT ALL coconut. It reminds of the cologne a guy used to wear in a building I used to live in. I get headaches with too much scent, so have been cautious. It's not as strong out of the wash and dryer. We use a half sheet per load or maybe, 3/4 of a sheet, sometimes more if it's towels or sheets, or a larger load. I've read that, in general, people use too much laundry detergent, so we're experimenting to figure out the right amount. We wash almost everything in cold or cool and this has dissolved just fine. The majority of packages of sheet soap we've tried come in about this size of package - so, it was what we expected. One thing we've learned over time, is to tear up the soap sheet into small pieces. Otherwise, you can get white clumps on your clothes as they wash (based on past experience). Actually, my daughter figured this out before I did! Overall, it works great and is easy to use. I think people believe soap sheets cost more than liquid detergent. But, I think the price is comparable. Cleans clothes well, is biodegradable, completely dissolves and lowers waste by only leaving the thin, recyclable/biodegradable envelope it comes in. It saves space in your laundry room vs detergent containers. They have a fresh, clean scent, reminiscent of linen hung on a clothesline to dry on a warm, breezy day. Read more

I have a mini portable washing machine that is for very small loads. It has been hard to figure out how much soap to put into it from a regular detergent bottle. This is so much more convenient than that. Takes up less space. I like that it's ecofriendly. Super fun idea. Read more
