This backpack set is made well and has a water proof material that keeps it dry in the rain or other weather. The backpack has a covered zipper so the contents inside are safe from the rain. The back is padded and the inside pocket for the chrome book is also padded with a velcro closing strap. There are other interior pockets and good size storage in this bag. If the manufacturer is listening the water bottle outside pockets need to be just an inch or so wider. It will not fit a 3" diameter size water bottle...a slim one fits ,but would be helpful to be slightly bigger or a strong elastic gusset added. Otherwise a great elementary school bag. The lunch bag is lined with thermal foil type material and is roomy enough for a regular size bento box along with a freezer pack. This bagpack is perfect for my 5 year old son. The material is great and the size is perfect. The pencil case and lunchbag are okay. This is a much better quality than I expected. Much better than the store brands. I also like that there is an in between size for toddlers. My son loved the shark print and lunch box 😊 fabric seems pretty durable and washable with a damp towel or wet wipe. No complaints on it.
