It’s super sturdy, holds a lot, has lots of pockets and fits over luggage handle or on your back. When checking my luggage, it’s so much easier to carry this on my back for a carryon than having to lug it with my arms. It also has side handles for easy lifting or if you want to carry it like a bag. And I like that it keeps its shape which makes it easy to pack. There’s a place to hold your water bottle too. Love this backpack! I previously ordered the 17" and realized it was just a bit too small, so got the 18" in blue-green. The organization is slightly different. The back laptop pocket on this one doesn't have a strap and the smaller one has two slip pockets in that compartment. Since I don't take a laptop, this is good for a jacket and other items I need on my flight. Lots of room. The water bottle pocket holds my 24 oz bottle. I used the compression strap to make a loop for an attached carabiner - it holds the handle on the bottle lid so the bottle never falls out. And keeps the lid handy when the bottle goes through security open and empty. There is a tiny pocket for a luggage tracker. Enough pockets for most things. The extra side handle is helpful and the snaps on the straps keep them from dragging even when wearing the pack. No ripped seams and everything appeared to be solidly sewn. I miss having a key holder but made up one myself. The color is great - very happy with the bag and the price. Be aware that if you fill the pockets in the lid, it gets heavy and floppy. I do wish there was a zippered cover or internal pocket for the main compartment to help keep everything organized. I'd pay more for that feature!. But I'm just going to use a large compression cube on top of everything else to stay neater when the bag is open. The "pass through" for a cable has to be cut open. Not doing that, as many airlines are now telling you not to use a powerbank in your closed luggage while charging. Read more

This pack was used for a three day getaway. It fit cleanly under the seat and actually stored enough gear to last five days. There’s room for a small laptop and accessories along with three days worth of clothes and a few in flight essentials. There are plenty of pockets for organization. But make no mistake. This is not an Osprey or Tumi. This is an inexpensive bag for short casual trips. Think minimalist travel. I bought this for a trip to the other side of the country. Really nice backpack! Took it on 5 different flights of varying types/ages of planes and it was great! It fit the United carry-on baggage requirements which are one of tiniest requirements out there. It has numerous compartments and it was easy to keep my stuff organized during my whole trip. My husband liked it so well that he mentioned wanting one too. I could put it on my rolling luggage easily and it would hold my water bottle. I had my purse in it plus my husband's Streamdeck and my Switch in it's travel case plus a bunch of clothes and all our travel papers and snacks. I have had this pack now for 6 months or more and have taken it on flights both domestic and internationally as well as weekend trips. It’s my go to pack now. I have a cpap and I can put that whole apparatus in the main compartment and still put a change clothes and swimsuit or Pjs in there underneath with the straps in the main compartment. The back compartment fits my 11 inch iPad plus all my charging cords and other accessories and it’s never been full. The front large pocket is super handy, it’s where I keep my liquids bag in case I need to take it out at security. Even with my liquids bag in there, there is still room for another full cosmetic bag of similar size. The small front zipper pocket on the front of that compartment is where I keep small things I need to grab quickly like handkerchief or chap stick. The large zipper pocket in front of the main compartment is where I put my hand fan and my wallet and passport for easy and secure access. There is a small pocket on top in front of the back compartment. That is great for storing a power cord and earbuds for use on the plane. The straps on the side really make it get compressed a lot and keep things secure. It also helps if it is too full and won’t sit under the seat well. I never got questioned about the size of the bag and it fits in even the smallest of bag checking stations even internationally. A love this backpack!!!! I have two backpacks from this company- the 18 inch one and the 16 inch one (I don't know if the 16 inch one is sold anymore). I love the double zippers. I'm an international backpacker and I rely on carryons! I'm able to fit so much into these bags and I have referred them to other nomads as well. It is so durable and comfortable. I had previously invested too much money into a PacSafe brand bag. It was a couple hundred. That one was heavy and not comfortable. These bags are durable, comfortable, spacious, have many pockets and **double zippers!!* it means they can be locked and prevent theft. I have been to 3 counties including India, Nepal, and United Arab Emirates with the 18 inch bag. I have taken the 16 inch bag around domestically. I highly recommend these bags. Great quality.
