EcoSmart 60W Equivalent Daylight A19 Energy Star Dimmable LED Light Bulb 8 Pack

We have many overhead lights in our basement living room and they used to have the small BR 25-30 warm bulbs. Because the lights are recessed we stayed with 60w but it was always to dim to read. We decided to just get regular LED Daylight 60w bulbs and they are very bright and easy to read. The bulbs fit and work great. We got the non-dimmable bulbs so the dimmer does not work on them. If you want to dim them you'd need to make sure you go the dimmable bulbs. Also since they are LED a regular dimmer may not work right. I have 9 bulbs in 3 separate fixtures, all on a single circuit. The quality of light is very good, I have no flickering and all 9 bulbs dim evenly to just a whisper of light. You cannot mix different types of LED bulbs and you need an LED compatible dimmer switch but with these two conditions, these lights are an excellent choice. I chose the 5000k daylight bulbs for the bathroom. 2700k bulbs emit too much yellow light in my opinion. PS. I submit reviews only when I am very impressed with a product. Read more

These really do last 13 years! I have a light fixture in my bathroom that has 6 Ecosmart bulbs installed 13 years ago when I redesigned the bathroom. Three have burned out within the last 2 weeks. They are all Ecosmart and will be going to the lightbulb graveyard together! Time for new Ecosmart bulbs! Read more

I've had some for years that I take with me if I change houses and they're still going strong. lol decided to look on Amazon to fill out the rest of the fixtures at my new house and even got a deal with Amazon tested repack. Box damaged of coarse but every bulb worked and saved a few bucks. I also only do the "Daylight" on the color spectrum. Not a fan of bright yellow unless it's your kitchen. Try it, it feels more natural and with dimmer switches you're set. Read more
